For the record, the Guardian's moderation is extremely, overtly political.
I got banned from commenting in the Guardian in November, in the run-up to the election, for daring to discuss anti-Semitism in Labour, a topic which was verboten - apparently racism on the left wasn't something the Guardian moderators were happy for attention to be drawn to, and the idea that banning a Jew for daring to point out anti-Semitism might not be entirely in keeping with the Guardian's supposed commitment to anti-racism escaped them. (And no, for the record, I didn't say anything remotely offensive, defamatory or that hadn't been said a million times elsewhere.)
So the fact that the Guardian moderators are also blacklisting feminists for supporting women's rights comes as no surprise to me whatsoever.
Self-reflection is not Guardian moderators' strong point. I'm not sure if they're really stupid, really gullible or what.
