Im a regular on here although mostly lurking.

I was wondering how other people reconcile their feelings about how fucking awful the patriarchy is, how men as a group are basically toxic and even the 'good ones' have an incredibly low bar for being decent humans.

Im married, and seriously reconsidering it because I feel this ongoing utter despair at the myriad injustices I put up with. I would NEVER EVER pursue a relationship with a man if I did leave.

Anyone else feel the same? Is this normal?!

It's fine for you to disagree the the opening post. I disagreed with quite a lot of it actually. The vast majority of men I spend time with are wonderful, caring human beings. If they read something like the opening post they would enter into a healthy debate. They wouldn't display the very behaviour the OP was complaining about.

i'm almost 60 and I sick of the lot of them, the only men I had any respect for were and are my grandfather who was a war hero in both wars and a perfect dad who never put a foot wrong and my own DS who I made sure I brought up properly with lots of love.
