The reactions to the tweet are interesting - it's a right laid down in the Equality Act that those sharing a protected characteristic can organise, meet and campaign together while excluding all those not sharing their protected characteristic.
But if all those reacting to the tweet saying she got what she deserved are to be believed, she committed a crime by wearing an LGB Alliance t-shirt.
However, if anyone had worn a Scottish Trans Alliance t-shirt, no one would have dared kick that person out.
Just another way the forced grouping of the T with the LGB has harmed the latter. The T is still allowed to stand on its own. Not so for the L, G and B whether alone or as a group representing homo- and bisexual people.
