Right, not sure you’ll agree that this belongs in Feminism as such but as it involves women’s greatest fanboy (not) Owen Jones I thought it’d be of an interest. Just to show what sort of people support him and his ideas.

Seems plausible to me that Giles wouldn't know given how much he's from the self centred school of journalism rather than the sort where you try to find out about the world.

Giles Coran has always flown close to the wind - that tweet about Jones is not out of character for him - he's offensive to just about everyone. He hasn't particularly singled LOJ out for pithy shitty remarks. The grown up thing is to take no notice of Coren's ridiculous babbling.

Owen Jones & his followers are two things:- over-sensitive babies, and overtly aggressive idiots towards anyone who offends their sensitivities in the slightest way. It's quite a frightening combination.

I wouldn't immediately see homophobia in Giles Coren's tweet either.

Owen Jones is a knob, as is Giles Coren but you don't go after someone and their family if they spout bollocks, you challenge their views.

I think it was a grubby little tweet from Coren and I also think harassing his family is appalling behaviour. I am going to assume Jones himself played no part in it and I look forward to seeing him distance himself from the actions of his supporters.

OK, maybe I am really dumb, but how is that tweet homophobic? I can see that it's pretty crass to say someone will be running after young interns and as far as I know OJ isn't into that sort of behaviour, but it seems to be a sort of equal opportunity vulgarity to me.

You know what suddenly strikes me though. Of all the things that might make me really lose my cool and want to show up at someone's house, this comes nowhere close. It's really nothing, not even worth commenting on, or noticing. I find it hard to think in what world it would be that kind of thing, even if you are a dork.

While I agree that Coren's 32% was a reach, this kind of behaviour from the "woke police" is driving people away from the left.
