I think she is funny and sassy and doesn't take herself too seriously. Her dude looks like a lady piece on IACeleb showed her humor.
However tonight she said that it's hard work becoming a women as there is so much more work (James called it women admin) and that she needs to get up an hour earlier now she is a women and can't just shower and go.
Why does this make you a woman. I wash and go, I don't have manicures nor do I wear make up, I do not get up early to get ready but I'm equally a woman. Why should woman equal groomed?

Important point upthread that a woman died because of Jenner and Jenner is now treated as some sort of 'national treasure' for some. How caring is Jenner really then (mentioned upthread)?

I don't watch this show but I bet you Jenner is centre stage, just like Willoughby was, just like Paris Lees on Celeb BB Big Mouth.

she is definitely more gorgeous than me and her figure is amazing.

Wow! Thanks for making me aspirate my coffee! CJ's figure looks like a man who has boobs. I won't comment on attractiveness because it's highly subjective but if you can't see that's a male body you need glasses or new set of eyes.

Pull your head out of your reality TV saturated ass.

Is this thread a joke?

What the actual fuck?!?!?

This thread is in the wrong place - it has nothing to do with FWR.

CranberriesChoccy · 21/11/2019 17:40

She's a prime example of why trans women should not compete against proper women in sport.

I was wondering if anyone has asked Jenner how she feels about transwomen competing in women's sport? As a former very high-profile athlete, I'm curious to know her opinion.

FamilyOfAliens · 21/11/2019 17:40

stoptheplanet

I’d be careful posting the word man in the same sentence as any reference to Caitlyn Jenner. I’ve been deleted on this thread for the same and am apparently now on my final warning from MNHQ .

Just avoid biological truth and you should be ok.

Thanks I hear you that's why I didn't speak the whole truth just said what CJ's body 'looks like' hoping that it would pass through moderation. Thanks for looking out for me I do appreciate it.

Jubilation · 21/11/2019 18:07

I really like her. She's funny, kind, strong and encourages others. I'd say I know many women who spend longer than men to get ready. If(only if) you wear make up, you're already taking longer. I think having made such a life change, she's revelling in all the things she now enjoys as a woman. No, she, or you, doesn't have to do it to be a woman.

BeyondBreakingPoint · 21/11/2019 18:24

[Jenner's] figure is amazing

Yeah, it's a smidge easier to have an amazing thin figure when you are a former 70's Olympic decathlete. Of course only men (and former men) would know, as women couldn't compete.

Lexplorer · 21/11/2019 19:18

I agree, I'd like to hear her opinion on transwomen competing against women.

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 21/11/2019 19:21

she now enjoys as a woman

Is it with my fanjo?

Lordamighty · 21/11/2019 19:25

Jenner’s figure isn’t amazing, it’s a male body with surgically applied breasts.

Pandaintheporridge · 21/11/2019 19:34

Since it isn't grooming, what does she have to do to be a woman? What did I have to do?

EmpressLesbianInChair · 21/11/2019 21:16

You didn’t have to do anything except grow up with XX chromosomes.

If this thread was in Telly Addicts (where I really think it should be), I wonder if it would still be subject to FWR rules?

Littlelamp456 · 21/11/2019 21:29

I think she’s great actually and I did not expect to like her.
Given the family she has, I’m not surprised she thinks women have to spend hours getting ready. Have you seen them? It’s sad but I think that’s life when you’re in the public eye in general and I think it’s also a confidence thing. She is undergoing a huge transition in front of the public eye, the amount of pressure on her shoulders must be immense. She seems very ‘normal’ in her attire too, the first day she arrived in a shirt and jeans and minimal makeup. I think she’s doing a great job of showing the side that doesn’t get shown much.

Being a woman means different things to every woman. To some women, taking extra care on their appearance and grooming makes them feel womanly.

Pandaintheporridge · 21/11/2019 21:52

Being a woman and feeling womanly are not the same categories. Feeling womanly presumably means feeling feminine which has little to do with what you actually are

The fuck? Does nobody remember how bizarre they had started looking before coming out as trans? The weird turtle face, too much filler and Botox look with obvious hair plugs that looked so weird. Caitlin is a simulacrum of a woman forged from a 70 year old male body through surgery. That figure is sculpted by fat removal and injections, silicone and drugs. Nothing gorgeous about that. Sad, not gorgeous.

That's not being a woman though that's being feminine. Totally different

This. Being a woman means that you are a biological adult human female. Nothing else.

I watched a TV interview with Jenner yesterday - and on the topic of sport they mentioned that they thought it " should be carefully monitored" and on an " individual basis", and that they thought the "Olympic committee had it about right".

Have to say I was disappointed, because up until that point I thought Jenner had been frank and honest, and aware that they were not really a woman.

testing987654321 · 21/11/2019 22:14

feel womanly

I feel womanly all the time, what with being a woman. Strangely I do less grooming than my male partner, he chooses to shave as well as doing the same hygiene routine as me.

TinselAngel · 21/11/2019 22:15

I think this thread is being moderated as if it is in Telly Addicts, not FWR and I can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing.
