Posie in discussion titled "Trans women are men" with Francis Foster and Konstantin Kisin on their YT show Triggernometry.
This is a promo clip, the full show goes out Sunday evening.

My comment about MSM not picking up the story was irony but it doesn't always work online.

Fair point.

NeurotrashWarrior · 23/11/2019 16:14

Ugh tried to write a few posts on the brain stuff; small children don't make it easy! delighted everyone has pretty much said it.

Thought this bang on on standing for women's website:

And of course Gina et al explaining why research on brains can easily become neurotrash.

NeurotrashWarrior · 23/11/2019 16:15

Oh yes and it's just plain sexist.

Uncompromisingwoman · 23/11/2019 16:24

Thank you LangCleg for that powerful post.
Watching the safeguarding of children being openly undermined is rage inducing. It's hard to hide my contempt towards those individuals and organisations pushing this. When the inevitable disasters happen I hope that they're dragged through every court in the land.

NeurotrashWarrior · 23/11/2019 17:39

Yes. It's already happening (ie the stage being set for boundaries to be broken) with certain individuals offering private pms and working 1:1 with vulnerable children under 'LGBTQ' charities.

GNC centric/ Ben talks about it in the interview posted upthread and also has said that she'd never heard of the the concept of safeguarding (she's US or Canada?) till she started engaging with trans debate stories from the U.K.

CranberriesChoccy · 23/11/2019 17:47

*We've even had that police officer, PC Gul, tell Harry Miller, quite openly, that sometimes a female brain can grow a male body around it. He knows, because he 'went on a course'.

Although, to be fair, a little reflection has him hotly denying it all now.*

I suspect they never thought they'd have to defend this guff. Trans activists/lobbyists are used to shouting transphobe and bigot at people in an attempt to shut them down, but the police are going to need a more robust reply than that. Which doesn't exist of course.

DuMondeB · 23/11/2019 18:16

Posie’s video was up to almost 75k views last time I looked. Far more popular than the @Triggerpod average (although still half Douglas Murray).

People want to hear about this stuff.

KettlePolly · 24/11/2019 10:11

I can't remember if it's this thread I posted it on already but Lisa Muggeridge's video on mothers perfectly describes the safeguarding Vs trans ideology tension. Mothers intuitively understand safeguarding and crucially their own responsibilities in the eyes of the state require that we do.

DuMondeB · 24/11/2019 15:01

Posie’s triggerpod video is now up to 125k and she’s also on Benjamin Boyce.

I like Benjamin as an interviewer already (especially his stuff with detransitioners) so this could be really good:

In related news, YouTube seem to have gone from banning the Triggernometry video to actively promoting it via auto play!

Thanks DuMonde
More Posie to look forward to tonight.

My thanks to those who stamped their size 9s to demand YouTube remove the Trigger video. As usual, such totalitatian tactics have had the opposite impact to the one intended and enabled Posie to gain more exposure.

Datun · 24/11/2019 19:14

Ahh. That'll be the wrong side of history looking like it might be this side of the hill, not the other side.

NeurotrashWarrior · 24/11/2019 20:10

I love Benjamin Boyce! Great stuff off to watch.

He did really good interview with a trans woman who's opening answer was "its gaslighting." Fabulous interview.

Backinthecloset123 · 24/11/2019 21:32

I'm loving the coverage Posie is getting. Next: Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, or some such person with millions of followers.

I'm on her side way more than those feminists who shat on her, calling her racist, islamaphobic, and such.

DuMondeB · 24/11/2019 21:47

I’d deffo like to see her on Joe Rogan. Or perhaps Megan Murphy.

TigersMotownandcars · 24/11/2019 23:01

I'ld like Konstantin to explain why women are required to be kind and accommodating at women's own expense, emotionally, psychologically and physically. Why aren't men telling the TRA's to be kind and considerate? Why do trans identified xy people's feelings matter more? Im out of kind accommodating compassion when TRA's give traumatized women absolutely none, bullying their way into our bathrooms, shelters and healthcare.

At least you gave Posey a platform, if not the fawning reception given to most every other guest.

NeurotrashWarrior · 25/11/2019 09:53

After just listening to Christine Jardine (LibDem) on r4 about 6.53am gaslighting listeners, I'd like triggernometry to interview tinselangel.

I imagine she wouldn't want to be identified but these interviews need to happen.

Melroses · 25/11/2019 10:07

Yes - the public is hearing so much stand by your transwoman at the moment, it would be good explore the issue from a different non glossy perspective.

KettlePolly · 25/11/2019 13:57

I've just watched it again. It's so good. Just cuts through so much of the obfuscation and hand waving and she really does succinctly explain why pronouns are the "thin end of the wedge."

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 25/11/2019 18:05

Watched it. Posie was outstanding, I thought, and the interviewers had done their homework.
I didn't think they were particularly hard on her.

ScreamingBeans · 25/11/2019 22:39

That was brilliant I really enjoyed it.

I found the cognitive dissonance of those 2 guys very funny - the fact that they seem to have some sympathy with the idea that you can be born in "the wrong body" (which when it was first used was supposed to be a figurative description of how it felt to have this type of dysphoria, not an actual literal medical diagnosis) while at the same time recognising that whether that body was wrong or not, it still shouldn't be on the same playing field as a female athlete with a woman's body.

But if you believe that transwomen are women, then of course they should be in all the same places as all other women. The fact that you don't believe they should be on the sports field, means you don't really believe they are women.

Or you believe that they are a particular type of woman different from all other women. But then my question would be, what is a woman? What makes them women and what makes me a woman? What makes Posie a woman? What makes India a woman like (or unlike) Posie?

And why do men think that getting rid of your cock means you're no longer a man? Men, sort this out. There isn't a woman out there who believes that a hysterectomy means women are no longer women, but men seem to have this very dick-centred view of what being a man is.

NeurotrashWarrior · 26/11/2019 11:16

I guess they have to flip it and imagine a how a gay man would react to going on a blind date with a trans man for a national newspaper but not being told about it before hand.

That's when pennies start to drop...

Oh wait!

LangCleg · 26/11/2019 11:32

The fact that you don't believe they should be on the sports field, means you don't really believe they are women.

Indeed. It means you believe you get to command women as to the extent they must accept the "identities" of humans who aren't women.

Censorship worked so well for Lady Chatterly's Lover, didn't it! Grin
