My JL has a really superb breastfeeding room. Might have to take clothes there to try on.

Justabaker · 16/11/2019 06:57

.@NeurotrashWarrior

Enjoy it while you may. Pervs coming your way soon.

Sorry everyone - gloom and doom morning.

TimeLady · 16/11/2019 07:26

How many changing rooms in M&S /JL menswear? A team with at least that number of women with an armful of clothes each could easily render the changing rooms unusable over a busy weekend period.. It doesn't have to be women's clothes, either; whatever's nearest. Nor do you have to get undressed. Just sit in there quietly and wait it out. No need to give the management a reason to call security, just cause an inconvenient 'blockage'.

I doubt when you come out there would be a queue though. Men, when inconvenienced, will simply go elsewhere.

WomanBornNotWorn · 16/11/2019 08:22

Just noticed a big Marks and Spencer sponsored fashion ad splashed across my Facebook.

Do we think they're worried?

Ereshkigal · 16/11/2019 08:32

Me neither. I think the whole trans ideology issue and quite how unfair it is on women, has been a massive eye-opener for a lot of women. The fact that it wasn't immediately nipped in the bud has alerted many women to their second-class status.

Oh yes.

Jojoanna · 16/11/2019 08:54

Im fed up , every shop in my high street has the use whatever changing room you like policy.

Redshoeblueshoe · 16/11/2019 11:06

I'm going to ask a really stupid question. Do men actually try on clothes ? My DH never does.
I think it's not necessary for them usually, as they are the size they say they are. But women's clothes the size varies A LOT.

Coatandhat · 16/11/2019 11:17

@NumbersStation - very moving post. Thank you Flowers

Akire · 16/11/2019 15:31

Question and sorry if this sounds clunky but can’t say it better. If you are non binary but have say a female body (I assume that non binary people don’t make any physically changes to their bodies through surgery)

Surely you are still as much risk to sexual assault and secret filming as someone who’s has a female body and gender matching. So isn’t it still the safest place for you away from men. Who don’t care how you identify if you still have breasts and vaginas as far as sexual assault goes.

Or does the I believe so strongly I’m
Not female that somehow nobody else will see you as female body either?

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 16/11/2019 15:35

(I assume that non binary people don’t make any physically changes to their bodies through surgery

non binary girls are encouraged to have their breasts removed.

SirVixofVixHall · 16/11/2019 15:36

Non binary is nonsense.

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 15:54

I live in a fairly insular part of the uk. I dare say without t’interweb or soshul meja we would have sauntered on being male or female and gay or straight. But oh no, we are all different nowadays and outside influences are impacting on our youth. I hear it everywhere - scrapping amongst themselves to be the most woke, inclusive or identifying as whatever.

But maybe things aren’t so different. My sister quite wanted to be a horse when she was little. Despite her whinnying and galloping at that tender age, all the identifying in the world didn’t make her have hooves or compete in the grand national.

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 15:58

And the chest feeding your baby pish?

Speechless.

But I’m all for it. As long as men earn the right to feed their offspring only when they have given birth. Through their organ of self importance.

TimeLady · 16/11/2019 16:08

The next women who finds herself secretly filmed in a shop's changing room should crowdfund to sue the bejesus out of them, because the stores can't say they haven't been explicitly warned.

Our emails will be waiting as evidence.

Akire · 16/11/2019 16:09

Yes but that the film taker will say they are female and then oh dear a women taking a film in the ladies we can’t possible do anything about that.

SingingLily · 16/11/2019 16:20

A hormone kit to allow biological males to breastfeed?

What will those hormones do to the development of the baby?

FGS. This is madness.

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 16:37

No no no @SingingLily
Chest feeding not breastfeeding.

They’ve done a man term for it because we all know breasts are for their pleasure only. They don’t want babies sucking them dry.

We are only good enough for incubation and for providing orifices it would seem.

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 16:41

And no one is working on a pill for growing a cock it seems. Because biological males are not to be belittled, demeaned or impersonated.

Not that we would.

Although I was fairly tempted to go and rub myself over every pair of boxers, briefs and yfronts in the land.but I won’t because I’m a decent human.

SingingLily · 16/11/2019 16:45

Thank you, NumbersStation, but I was referring to Justabaker's post at 06.57 and the link to an article about a hormone kit for men. Sorry if my post didn't make that clear.

I agree with you about the ludicrous term "chestfeeding".

NumbersStation · 16/11/2019 16:53

Sorry. @SingingLily Am half asleep floating on a cloud of outrage Grin

SingingLily · 16/11/2019 16:55

No worries, NumbersStation, I may be on the same cloud Smile

It is a radicalisation portal, after all. And we thought it was just a nest of vipers. 🤷

littlecabbage · 16/11/2019 18:47

Bad (but unsurprising) news from Debenhams:

I understand that you would like to know about our in-store changing room policy.

Upon checking with one of our stores, I can confirm that we do have separate changing rooms for females and males.

If a customer is comfortable using changing rooms of the opposite sex they can also use it.

HepzibahGreen · 16/11/2019 18:53

Fucksake Debenhams.
