Fresh thread in case part 2 fills up overnight.
I am yet to receive a reply to my third email, have been furiously tweeting, and as am now pursuing the options available to me as a shareholder.
Still crossing fingers for John Lewis!

Ugh. It's just a perfect paradise.

It wouldn't even surprise me if they didn't buy half this stuff, just writing and leaving the review is getting them aroused.

Marks & Spencer's should be ashamed of them selves. These men will know that teenage girls might well read these reviews. It's just revolting.

Datun · 17/07/2020 18:14

*pervert paradise !

PronounssheRa · 17/07/2020 18:15

Panties 🤮

These reviews are probably from basement dwellers doing it for kicks and to feed a fetish knowing women will read the reviews.

They are forcing women to take part in their fetish, the real issue is m&s let them.

Michelleoftheresistance · 17/07/2020 18:24

Agree Greenlamp it's been good to find new and better pastures for clothes.

Sexnotgender · 17/07/2020 19:13

I’ve not spent a single penny in M&S since they declared war on women. Fuck em. I’m enjoying finding new places to spend my money and supporting small businesses.

Bananabixfloof · 17/07/2020 20:04

I have coped admirably not spending any money in m and s. I've just kept my money which I would usually spend on food. I went on a UK holiday before lockdown and would normally buy tons in the services for food on the go and some clothing and Christmas food. Its maybe 5/600 a year that they've lost from me. Peanuts in the grand scheme but I refuse to give them a penny. Never again will I buy anything from them. It's been a year, they're still pandering , well fuck them.

supporting small businesses

Hasn't that been great? The big shops going all anti female have pushed me to look much more at better and more environmentally friendly shopping, it's been a really positive step. Always sent me to small businesses making reusable sanwear which is great - amazing difference when you're not using things with harsh chemicals on your skin - M&S have sent me to a whole range of small shops and designers with better quality and way less frumpy/weird clothes and recently someone amazing here sent me in the direction of a new start up doing bath stuff to replace the M&S range I'd got into the habit of buying.

Customer loyalty.... yes, happily re established elsewhere, and I'm very keen to try and support those small businesses through the Covid disruptions.

Yes, I'm still boycotting. I don't miss them at all actually. Thought I would!

rednsparkley · 18/07/2020 12:34

I'm still boycotting them - and I have to confess I am having a little trouble sourcing some school uniform. M&S super skinny trousers are perfect for my long, bean-pole teenager, supermarket trousers are way too wide and he looks like a Northern Soul fan in them Grin The search continues, they definitely aren't getting my money!

We have the same challenge. Depending on the age of your teen, Top Man & H&M menswear are good. If I recall, Top Man starts at a 26” waist & H&M at 28”. Finding them in stock in store is tricky, but online is OK. I also bought button elastic and adapted some of my teen’s trousers & shorts last year by cutting slits into sides of the inner waistband, sewing buttons on the inner waistband and feeding the button elastic through the back of the waistband - basically toddler-adjustable style.
FleecyMoo · 18/07/2020 20:52

I've just bought myself some non M&S underwear for the first time in decades. I complained to them about their reviews and got no reply whatsoever. I will never, ever buy from them again. I hope the 'new customers' are buying enough to keep M&S afloat. Not Angry
