I would imagine part of the ‘fun’ is trying them on and returning them to the shelves - knowing that your backside and dangly bits has been in them... shudder

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 11/11/2019 19:27

I have a new hobby (thanks) - reading the reviews on scanty panty websites. Here’s a spoiler - it’s not all women (and I’m not convinced the items have been brought for them missus’). It must be an Internet thing... I’m going to start making my own knickers...

theflushedzebra · 11/11/2019 19:28

After reading a certain twitter account, there's one male who wanks on them and then puts them back in the middle of the rack. It's all part of the thrill.

I feel like this is a baptism of fire - every day I hear more about gross things some men do, and new inventive ways they are invading women's spaces.

Im wondering if any pair of knickers in a store is guaranteed not to have been tried on by a man? I dunno, I always they ordered online or something Confused

Sexnotgender · 11/11/2019 19:29

I think I’m going to stop we wearing undies. Or I’ll just knit some Confused

Coldwatershock · 11/11/2019 19:34

I imagine if you stick to big Bridget Jones pants you'll be safe. It's the frilly shiny what-ladies-wear variety that are most arousing for changing room fetishists, surely?

SirVixofVixHall · 11/11/2019 19:36

That bloke in the swimsuit...it isn’t him buying a women’s costume, that is up to him, it is the posting of pictures, which forces me to be party to his fetish, which is clearly what he wants. Women looking at the swimming costume reviews all get to see him and his poses.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 11/11/2019 19:38

The sad thing is that they think they look good on them!

Rachelsfatarse · 11/11/2019 19:45

It’s a tradition in our house to have a M&S Colin the Caterpillar cakes everytime there’s a birthday in the family. I’m that angry with M&S, we will not be having Colin’s ever again!

(Suggestions for non-M&S chocolate based novelty cakes welcome)

Sexnotgender · 11/11/2019 19:46

I think the big supermarkets do chocolate caterpillars.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 11/11/2019 19:47

I don’t think it’s called Colin anymore...

Akire · 11/11/2019 19:51

Other caterpillars are available! (And probably cheaper!)

Rachelsfatarse · 11/11/2019 19:57

There is still Colin and a pick girly one called Connie (I think) which I refused to buy in principle as who wants a highly gendered chocolate caterpillar?

Rachelsfatarse · 11/11/2019 19:59

@Akire thank the Lord for Grin

WrathofSixFootSixEIf · 11/11/2019 20:16

Don't just read the reviews, there's a thumbs up or down option for each review. And guess what, the male reviews are getting the biggest thumbs ups.

Wankers.

I am now giving the female reviews the thumbs up now.

TheChampagneGalop · 11/11/2019 20:16

I wonder if those men would lose their interest in buying lacy knickers if they were promoted as manly men's underwear in male sizes. Sadly I think so.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 11/11/2019 20:17

Look the pink one is now a unicorn and the blue one is wearing a rainbow tutu and now called ‘sparkles the kitty’.

Coldwatershock · 11/11/2019 20:24

Maybe Colin is now identifying as female Grin
Sainsbury's have a nice one.
We can live without M&S...

Justabaker · 11/11/2019 20:42

Completely and totally creeped out by the M&S knicker reviews. 'Creeped out' is not a phrase I have used since high school (I matriculated in 1977). I guess the reviews are part of 'them' getting 'us' (women) to participate in their fetishism. So adding to their kicks.

Only ever going to buy from Rigby & Peller or mail order.

Akire · 11/11/2019 20:44

Being reading some of the Marks reviews oh my. I don’t want to buy pants a man finds sexy and comfy. I suppose that’s terrible old fashioned to say now.

Akire · 11/11/2019 20:47

If I was a fashion designer and had new range, with my name on. The last thing I would want is reviews by men. It’s not going make women more inclined to buy that something special. But I suppose Fetish pound must be worth hell of a lot.

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 11/11/2019 20:50

I suppose Fetish pound must be worth hell of a lot

It's a very big market.

MorbidMuch · 11/11/2019 20:52

I tried to access the M&S knicker review linked above and got this. Have they deleted it?

It’s official; Marks and Spencer have fallen, the sequel.......
Akire · 11/11/2019 20:55

Still working for me, though could be cookies save it.

Needmoresleep · 11/11/2019 21:01

There for me (mores the pity). Perhaps your antivirus has some sort of filter: porn and M&S knicker reviews.....

Its one of those 'every day's a school day' moment. Creeped out is a good description.

Akire · 11/11/2019 21:01

There are 5 men and 5 women reviews on that page.

Total of female reviews with the thumbs up 27. Total of mens 297!

I take it that’s not just for their literacy skills Shock
