Ok great, let us know the response. I posted way back the M&S response email to my second email highlighting that there were no doors in the disabled changing room. It was a pretty standard “we will relay your comments to the board”.

As I’ve already said, I don’t use a wheelchair. But shop very infrequently as I often cannot walk far enough. I prefer the disabled cubicle due to the space and seating arrangement. I find the cubicles constricting and have to stop myself bashing the sides and can’t use them if I go with my dd, which I usually do as bless her, she’s 11 but carries my bags etc.

"Exactly, Just because I am trying on panties in the fitting room next to them or their daughters it's not like we in same room t.co/hFwX7qTRN0 "

And there's some woman there saying "why are people so sensitive?" and complimenting 'Jax The Panty Guy' on his collection.

Oh it gets worse.

Urgh, 'panties'.

Makes me shudder.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 05/11/2019 06:59
Envy

(Definitely not envy. Person responded to "fetish" comment with photos of knicker collection. When people show you who they are believe them!)

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 05/11/2019 07:00

"Panties" is just an inherently horrible word, isn't it? Like "moist" but with much creepier connotations.

(Sorry, Americans, but it is.)

YouJustDoYou · 05/11/2019 07:02

"Whatever you do, don't go barefoot in the fitting room after I've tried on panties" 🤮🤮🤮😡

SunsetBeetch · 05/11/2019 07:07

🤮🤮

Mummyoflittledragon · 05/11/2019 07:13

🤮🤮

Putting them back. Ewwwwww. That’s vile. Can I just comment on the changing room he’s in. It’s a proper room unlike the M&S changing rooms. More like a broom cupboard.

TwatticusFinch · 05/11/2019 07:27

I have a legal background but am only dipping in and out of this thread in between going to work and looking after my DC. What's the legal issue specifically please?

Alltheprettyseahorses · 05/11/2019 07:35

I don't think this is an EHRC thing. M&S have every right to withdraw single-sex changing facilities, although it would only be fair of them to put lots of large signs up so any woman wishing to use the cubicles would be fully informed and could make a decision on that. However, equally M&S have to take on board that women's custom paid for these areas and women's custom continues to pay for the upkeep of what is basically a selling tool for the store. So if women withdraw that custom because they don't want mixed-sex facilities, which the vast majority of their customer base seems to be against given the reaction, then tough. It's their share price that keeps falling. There are plenty of other shops.

Ok keep an ear out for this. Also look into Notre Dame school in Glasgow - a girls school (not for long though).

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 07:44

I can’t believe this is the last all girl school in Scotland.😲

TimeLady · 05/11/2019 07:47

Maybe Messrs Norman and Rowe should be sent those screenshots from Jaxpantyguy.

It should make Kristine, Laura, Liz and all the other poor foot soldiers in customer services go urgh/ewwwww too.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 07:51

Maybe used such shots in staff training?

Rather than the - I assume - “everyone is happy, everyone loves it, no issues at all, nothing to worry about, I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, song a rainbow toooooo”

Has @jaxpantyguy been mentioned yet?

He shares pics on Twitter of himself going into the women's area (choosing stores specifically that have the "gender inclusive" policy, tries on women's on knickers without his own underwear underneath, (or "panties", USA), enjoys telling us all about releasing his cum on the cubicle floor and a bit in the clothing, then puts the knickers back on the shelf for a woman to purchase.

He brags about this activity!

Thanks M&S for enabling ppl like him!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 08:06

Oh he’s been mentioned... I'm guessing he’s in the US (not that there won’t be the U.K. versions)

Qcng · 05/11/2019 08:07

^ bracket before "choosing" should be a comma.

Qcng · 05/11/2019 08:07

Ok!

Qcng · 05/11/2019 08:08

Are people forwarding this information to M&S?

Qcng · 05/11/2019 08:08

I've actually read the thread now Grin

ChattyLion · 05/11/2019 08:22

I’m not a lawyer but why isn’t it an EHRC issue? If others have used the Equality Act to gain access to fucking everywhere that women want to be alone with only other women... why can’t women use the exemptions where they object to that?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 08:28

What about my equality rights?

Birdsfoottrefoil · 05/11/2019 08:31

ChattyLion it is very much an EHRC issue - they have been captured and are now promoting the dismantling of women’s rights. They were even told by parliament to put out a clear statement protecting single sex spaces but refused.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/11/2019 08:46

What the Primark line? I’ve just stuck my nose through the un-sexed doorway and can see booths with curtains - large spaces top and bottom (And curtains never quite close fully so they?) and a staff member - woman - at the front desk in a hijab hanging up returns.

So she really could be compelled to allow engine to enter?
