It increasingly feels like we should treat witch hunts against individual women as attacks on women as a class.

I thought women here might appreciate a thread to show their support for Allison. I don't know her personally, but I believe in all women's right to free speech.

I stand with Alison.

We would encourage everyone to write a letter of to GCC expressing your concern about the barrister in question and the new group.

Their bio reads:

"National trans-led charity improving the lives of transgender, including non-binary, people in the UK.We specialise in supporting young trans people aged 8-24."

Weird how they can have a charity that focuses on trans and non-binary, but lesbian, gay and bisexual people aren't allowed to organise for their own interests.

Also, check out that age-range.

Thanks for the link to TouchNote, I used it to send a card to Allison to show support and thank her for giving me hope in very dark times.

I used the second free card to send a copy to myself, if the quality of the card is up to snuff I'll keep the subscription. I have a suspicion there will be more cards that need sending next year.

Thankfully almost nobody has signed it but the entitlement in that statement is astounding. Imagine being so self absorbed that you think you have the right to demand how others run their business and who they employ.

Um she's self employed and a member of the Chambers, not 'employed' by a 'law firm'. What a nonsensical petition.

If you have a moment, please report the petition for being abusive on the grounds of harassment. If you scroll down the page, it says ‘policy violations’ or something. It’s pathetic to begin with and not even the TRAs seem to have any interest in it but it is plainly targeted harassment and shouldn’t be allowed to stand.

I've talked of threats and harrassment and the homophobia towards the LGB Alliance, with TRAs targeting a lesbian.

I took a screenshot of gendered intelligence's bullying.

It depressed me last night to see they've been given a grant by sport England, I bet you can guess why.

I genuinely find the whole thing so depressing. Its absolutely unfair to women and the overwhelming majority of people see that. It in no way helps trans people either, in fact the opposite.
