It increasingly feels like we should treat witch hunts against individual women as attacks on women as a class.

I thought women here might appreciate a thread to show their support for Allison. I don't know her personally, but I believe in all women's right to free speech.

I stand with Allison.

Her piece on her experiences was both moving and horrifying. This is 2020: where a black lesbian is demonised for seeking to ensure that same sex attraction, and women's rights to identify as a group with shared biology (when that biology is why we are oppressed), are respected. Because largely white, largely male, people want her to shut the fuck up and let them tell us who a woman, and what a lesbian, is.
