The last I saw she had lost her login and had made a new account.

I miss her. I hope the confusion hasn't seen her suspended.

Yes - Lass got one of those reproachful, passive aggressive emails warning of possible temporary suspension "you might like to consider that Mumsnet isn't the place for you" and hasn't posted since.

Yet another MNHQ own goal because love her or hate her, Lass provided needed tension and position-testing on a great many threads.

Fekko also had a post deleted from the jury rules 7 year old must be transitioned thread presumably for hinting at what trans ideology really is, my own post hinting at the same has also been removed though I've had no e-mail about it.

The uber privileged class really don't want anyone explicitly stating the reality of this ideology but for mumsnet to remove posts that even hint at it in a round about way is utterly shameful.

Lass was great - extremely rude sometimes but she had a good anti-prostitution/porn stance.

I wish MNHQ would 'consider' the wording of their warning emails. I don't mind having a post deleted if I've crossed the line (it's never deliberate) but that email saying "we know you'll be disappointed by this" (not really, no) and "you might want to consider if Mumsnet is the place for you" are just downright patronising to someone who has been reading & posting here for nearly a decade.

Funny, sweary, rude and sarcastic is the MN USP.

All of which littlebrowndog is! She couldn't be more Mumsnetty! Any site that wants to throw her away and keep the po faced miserable gits who reported her is mad.

I miss Lass as well. She was very acerbic at times but it’s good to have voices like hers, she would never blindly agree to anything. I particularly miss her on surrogacy and prostitution threads.

Should I report this thread to see if TPTB have any feedback? Or would that be just another fools errand?

Go for it. There seems to be at least one very specific issue which they should be able to unambiguously address - that people don't get seem to be getting notification when they have a post deleted (both generally and if it's a 'strike').

The problem is that if Little did come back, now that she is a previously banned poster, her card would be marked if she was ever found out. This means that people who want to come back would have to use a VPN to get in, and never reveal who they were in a previous existence so basically starting again with nobody knowing who you are. Very isolating apparently.

Obviously this happened to a friend. Who shall remain nameless.

One a supposedly banned TRA posted on Twitter last week about being banned from MN and boasted about coming back on with a different VPN. He did indeed post again.

I reported this to MN who said they'd investigate, but his posts still stand. Either he was lying and it was just hubris or MN did nothing.

Oh and check that it isn't this group from the US!
