New LGB organisation to replace Stonewall

What are they sooo scared of???

Homosexuals' right to organise in a way that serves their specific needs and to assert their own boundaries?

All once stood behind Stonewall. Indeed the broadcaster Simon Fanshawe was a founder member and the former American Express vice-president Kate Harris a major fundraiser.

Yet they believe that since 2015, when the charity incorporated trans rights into its remit, Stonewall has ceased to represent them. They say it endorses sexist stereotypes promoting the notion that a “butch” girl or a “feminine” boy is in the wrong body and needs treatment when most gender non-conforming children turn out, like them, to be gay

When the hyperbole is as ridiculous as it has been then you know that people are running scared.

They are scared because they need the LGB, but the LGB certainly do not need them.

Has anyone else not been able to find them on FB? When I search for them via the FB search function it first 'corrects' my search to LGBT alliance, then when I remove the t all I get is articles about the big bad mean anti-trans group. I can't actually find the lgb alliance group at all.

I know there's a link to them up the thread but I can't remember my FB login so have to go through the app.

It's more that I'm concerned FB is preventing people from finding the page. Wondered if it was unique to me, before I get out my tin foil hat...

I had no problem finding them on FB.

I found it ok. There does seem to be another closed group with the same name, but it is the one with a picture of Storme DeLaverie.

Does anyone know if they are taking donations yet? Would love to set up a DD for them. I'm not on FB.

The organisation will be officially launched in 2020.
I think the event on Tuesday was to formally kick things off.
I'd imagine they would get a website and ways to donate set up eventually.
