It will close tomorrow, then I can pay my criminal solicitor and barrister, and hopefully find and secure the civil solicitor I am desperately looking for

I tried explaining this court case to OH late last night in bed. It took a while he was baffled. When the penny finally dropped he was horrified, had no idea what was going on in our legal system.

How can the police hold someone for that long though? Is that legal?

With my expert knowledge, gleaned from Line of Duty, I think someone can be held for 24 hours without charge.
