Yes, but getting on for 2000 deeper in the last couple of days - and the email update I got yesterday said the hole is now deep enough to, er, fit the criminal fees in? (metaphor fail)

Entertaining though it might have been, I wouldn’t want Kate to have to face further appeals, because of a Judge’s turn of phrase.

Indeed. Still needs a bit more excavation I think.

It’s brought me a great deal of comfort watching it grow.

I love a good excavation (engineers daughter, brought up peering into large foundation holes saying ‘ooohhhhhhh’)

Apparently the contractors have been authorised to extend the contract to be completed by a day in October, not sure it'll extend beyond that, rules are strict
