Can someone help me understand who is pushing these policies and why are they being agreed to?

Why aren't those decision makers just saying bog off we don't agree to do that?

There are surely women within these decision making boards?

I don't get it. It's barking mad and dangerous.

It's not just women who think this is mad, my DH agrees with all the sentiments raised on these issues, a father to a DD.

To the mothers of sons, are you teaching your DS that this is mad? I hope so.

PrimalLass · 14/09/2019 21:56

asdetcetc

Fuck off. That's all. No one cares about being called transphobic.

JazzyBBG · 14/09/2019 21:57

trans people are the most sexually harassed when in toilets (especially when they are in toilets of their birth sex)

Evidence???

I'm sure all the straight men out there are busy sexually harassing the transgender women whilst the straight women harass the trans men cos they are just so irresistible.

Somebodyswatson · 14/09/2019 21:58

*tiredofthisBS not really, I think I just lost some of my faith in humanity, I never thought that this many people could think this is wrong. These girls are being allowed into girl's spaces because they are girls. Do you have any idea how much courage it must take these children to come out as trans? And do you really think teachers aren't going to be able to tell the difference between a child living as a girl and a boy messing about?

PrimalLass · 14/09/2019 22:00

And do you really think teachers aren't going to be able to tell the difference between a child living as a girl and a boy messing about?

The teachers are not allowed to make that judgement.

OldCrone · 14/09/2019 22:00

trans people are the most sexually harassed when in toilets (especially when they are in toilets of their birth sex)

So maybe you should pop over to a male-dominated forum and tell them to be more accepting of feminine men.

It's absurd telling women that they should fix a problem which is all about how some men treat some other men.

HeadintheiClouds · 14/09/2019 22:00

They are not girls. Just stop it, you’re sounding like a complete fool. Or you’re on the windup?

TiredofthisBS · 14/09/2019 22:00

Humans can not change sex @Somebodyswatson.

JoyceJeffries · 14/09/2019 22:00

Unilad? Oh fuck off.

OldCrone · 14/09/2019 22:01

These girls are being allowed into girl's spaces because they are girls.

How does a boy become a girl, Somebody?

CharlieParley · 14/09/2019 22:02

Girls have rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that include privacy, safety and that oblige the state to protect them from abuse as well as support them to recover from abuse.

The new EHRC guidelines would violate these and a number of other articles of the UNCRC. They also conflict with the protected characteristic of sex under the Equality Act. This is not conjecture, an assumption or idle guesswork, these are the facts.

Anyone who supports these guidelines as two posters on this thread did, is supporting the abuse of children and of female children in particular.

But a teacher also pointed out to me recently, that such guidelines are also in conflict with learning outcomes in Scotland. Part of those involve helping children to distinguish fact from opinion, presenting a balanced view on any given issue, to learn to listen to and accept that others may have opposing views etc.

How any teacher is supposed to achieve that while indoctrinating children in transgender ideology and penalizing children who reject, object or even question claims made in relation to this ideology while themselves facing disciplinary action for disagreeing even with the harmful aspects of this ideology, is anyone's guess.

twelvecolourfulbirds · 14/09/2019 22:02

You've missed the boat. No longer is anybody on here is willing to be emotionally blackmailed by your meanies and bad mummies comments, made to do mental gymnastics to accommodate your ridiculous feelz. You gave away your hatred of women with that "child won't stop screaming in Sainsbury's" remark. Men are born men and remain men forever. Deal with it.

We are all Magdalen Berns.

zebrasdontwearbras · 14/09/2019 22:03

Can someone help me understand who is pushing these policies and why are they being agreed to?

Stonewall, TEFL, Mermaids, and other trans rights activist lobbyists who deny that there is a trans lobby even when they are part of it. Almost all LGBT organisations (esp those with govt funding) have been completely dominated with the 'T' now.

To the mothers of sons, are you teaching your DS that this is mad?

Oh yes. All my children are gender skeptical because I've brought them up to reject gender stereotypes like "boys should....do this / girls should...do that"

Blue brain/ pink brain is treated as the utter nonsense it is in the zebra household Wink

OldCrone · 14/09/2019 22:05

And do you really think teachers aren't going to be able to tell the difference between a child living as a girl and a boy messing about?

Even if they can tell the difference, there is no way of stopping the boy who's messing about from having access to the girls' changing rooms if they allow it to one who is genuinely confused about his 'gender'. That's how self-ID works. Everyone is who they say they are.

Wurzelsnewhead · 14/09/2019 22:05

They are biological males Roth male bodies they have no right to be in spaces for biological spaces.
Here’s how to regain some of hat precious faith in humanity you’ve just lost- Go and campaign for unisex spaces for transgender/ non binary kids in schools.
Don’t trample over girls rights to privacy and dignity. Do you have any understanding of the courage it takes for abused girls to be around males? Do you actually have any humanity, or is it just reserved for a select few?
#girls rights are human rights

JazzyBBG · 14/09/2019 22:06

Paris Lees and Unilad - oh those well respected pools of knowledge!

asdfghjk111 · 14/09/2019 22:06

my hatred for women??? actually i'd say i was a supporter of women that arent supported by white transphobic feminism. fyi, the NHS literally classes gender dysphoria as a real condition see here but i suppose theyre all lying to you

TiredofthisBS · 14/09/2019 22:06

Girls who have been abused, have suffered sexual abuse, FGM, bullying. THEY are brave.

TiredofthisBS · 14/09/2019 22:10

They can fix their own problems. It's not down to women to sort it out for them.

SarahTancredi · 14/09/2019 22:11

Some women cant be brainwashed into this shit. Get over it.

Dont you love how angry men get when us women say no.

Precicatable.
Old.
Boring.

zebrasdontwearbras · 14/09/2019 22:11

We say NO.

Males are not girls or women. People born with penises are not girls or women, and do not have a right to invade our female spaces. Go away.

Women's privacy is protected by law in the UK and is not yours to give away.
