Prince Andrew Denies Everything (Again...)

And Mandy Rice-Davies is screaming from her grave, Well he would, wouldn't he?

C4 News leading on the Roberts/Giuffre depostion. She claims she had sex with HRH three times in 2001, including once at an orgy, for which she was paid $15,000. Flight logs showing her being delivered by the delightful Ghilaisne Maxwell also enclosed.

Al this was supplied to the Met at the height of the Yewtree fuss, but they seemed far too busy chasing Cliff richard and Paul Gambaccini to take very much interest.

This isn't going to go away.

Of course the creep isnt going to admit it!

I hope it doesnt go away. I hope they get all those involved.

OvaHere · 16/08/2019 19:47

I'm going to predict that absolutely nothing will happen to Prince Andrew other than maybe him keeping a low profile for a while.

JoySuckClub · 16/08/2019 19:47

I should bloody well hope it doesn't go away. Crown family should not shield him. As for the recent Back with Fergie bullshit, cannot eyeroll enough. Marina Hyde has his number:

Juells · 16/08/2019 19:49

I really don't think anyone should be found guilty just on circumstantial evidence. He may have dunnit, he may not. How do you prove you didn't do something?

TBH, anyone who's been paid $15,000 for an orgy is willing to do quite a lot for money, and not someone whose word I'd trust. How do you know she's not being paid by a newspaper for her story, and polishing up a few facts to make it more interesting as nobody in the UK would know the people who were at an orgy in the US?

HermioneWeasley · 16/08/2019 19:51

Of course he will get away with it

terryleather · 16/08/2019 19:52

Sadly I agree that nothing will happen to any of the great & the good involved in this , least of all Andrew...possibly there will be a couple of minor players chosen as scapegoats and thrown to the wolves but that'll be it.

Same as it ever was.

Yabbers · 16/08/2019 20:10

Doesn’t matter whether he admits it or not. The internet’s say he’s guilty and that’s how he will remain, no matter what happens.

Just like many still believe Cliff Richard is.

Sicario · 16/08/2019 20:22

I think you're being very mean. He's been under a great deal of stress. We've all seen how burnt-out he's been looking lately while clip-clopping around Windsor on his free horse while he contemplates his hideously stressful free life.

And of course he has to visit his mother, and we all know that's no tea party when they're in their 90s and might have to sell their home to pay for ghastly sub-standard care that one wouldn't put one's corgi in.

MockersthefeMANist · 16/08/2019 20:36

I think Ms Maxwell is for the chop, and suspect that unlike dear old dad she may want to drag a few under with her.

Now the nagging question is what law if any was broken in 2001, regarding a 17 year old before the 2003 Sexual Offences Act?

NeurotrashWarrior · 16/08/2019 21:10

Marina really does have his number! Great article.

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 16/08/2019 21:20

q

GirlDownUnder · 17/08/2019 02:00

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey I’ve seen you just post just a ‘q’ a few times now. Does it mean something?

Gingerkittykat · 17/08/2019 02:35

Why would Yewtree investigate possible offences that happened in the USA or am I missing something?

I clicked on the mirror link from the Guardian article and noticed a couple of stories about Fergie, also dragging Zara Phillips into some mess for dodgy business deals (also Peter Phillips but not nearly as interesting to put his pic in the paper!)

There is no way Andrew will ever be convicted of anything, and also wouldn't be surprised if something bad happened to anyone making allegations against him.

Dear Kitty and Elm House..................

Daisypie · 17/08/2019 02:37

Really hope they get him but can't imagine them extraditing him to the US.

JoySuckClub · 17/08/2019 03:17

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elm_Guest_House_claims_and_controversy

Homosexuality was criminalised until 1967 - many celebrities stay(ed) in the closet - Elm House might have allowed a degree of anonymity/safe space for lovers to meet (not talking under age/paedos/orgies but rooms rented for visitors who wanted to be together under the radar. These names might also have been recorded for purposes unknown).

Carl Beech has been jailed for 18 years.

Do I still believe that there are some politicians involved in things that others conceal - I read much on the exaro boards on here so I keep an open mind/am healthily cynical...but being gay in itself is not a crime.

FuckFacePlatapus · 17/08/2019 03:19

He will never own up because he knows the 'Firm' will cover his arse. He knocks me sick.

Supergranscape · 17/08/2019 07:09

Google Kitty + Elm house. I believe the abuse continued over the years and still goes on. There will be links with the USA which Yewtree will have uncovered. Elm house may have been a safe space for the rich and powerful but what allegedly went on there with minors is horrific. A huge complicit web of abuse.

Prince Andrew was warned years ago about his friendship with Epstein who it is now alleged was possibly murdered. The powerful and rich will use dark forces to cover it all up and try to silence the victims. I think a lot more will come out about this.

Needmoresleep · 17/08/2019 07:32

It looks like James Patterson, the novelist and a Florida neighbour of Epstein's, has been curious about comings and goings for a while. He, and co-author John Connolly, are likely to have more they have felt able to publish so far, and will have the clout to get future material out.

Extracts from their book looking at where the girls came from are in the Mail today. It is important to consider the victims as much as the perpetrators.

TheBigBallOfOil · 17/08/2019 07:36

Loved that column of marina’s. She nails it every time.
I have seen the photo. What’s the horrible little turd’s story for what was going on there?

origamiunicorn · 17/08/2019 07:43

What I don't understand, I've been following this best I can but might have missed something, is I read an article yesterday saying they found that Maxwell woman in L.A at a restaurant but that seems to have been it, they took a photo of her reading some book at a table. Why wasn't she brought in for questioning at the very least?

flamingjune123 · 17/08/2019 07:49

What crime would Andrew have committed? The girl was 17, he will clearly say he had no idea that money changed hands and the girl may have appeared a willing partner
Sorry if I sound dense

BertrandRussell · 17/08/2019 07:56

What’s the problem? It’s not as if he wore the wrong colored nail varnish, and i’m sure we know who his children’s god parents are.......

MedalMedalMedal · 17/08/2019 07:56

He’ll be above the law. Nothing will happen, being royal and rich he’ll be protected. If it comes to his word against hers his will be the one they believe. Sickening. How indeed does he explain that photo? Hmm

feelingverylazytoday · 17/08/2019 08:25

He'll be above the law
He doesn't appear to have broken any law as it stood at the time, so what's the point of harping on about it? It's just a waste of time.
He's obviously as sleazy AF, everyone knows it already, but no one gets banged up just for being sleazy.
