Has anyone signed up to spinster.xyz yet? It’s like twitter but without the misogyny. No banning for stating biological truths. See you over there hopefully

Looking at what's unfolding on here in less that 24 hours of starting....I don't think it's a forum for me. Outing a user like that is perhaps a little taster of what's to come and continue from some on Twitter.

Having been subjected to stuff like that myself a few times for no good reason other than disagreeing. No thanks

You seem to be saying what's happened here on MN is a taste of what will happen somewhere else. Not sure I follow the reasoning.

Hi all, just dropping by to say that revealing personal info isn't really in the spirit of the site - we've removed a couple of instances whilst we investigate.

Really stupid question here, but is the advice to use a different email address purely in case the site is hacked? Or are there any other reasons?

For some who are concerned it will be just a ghetto of opinions that will never see the light of day elsewhere, we should take heart that the 2nd wave Women’s Movement emerged from a lot of small consciousness-raising groups. These groups just let women speak their minds freely and from that simple concept the movement spread like wildfire. There’s a reason TRAs are doing everything in their power to prevent women speaking and assembling freely.

We signed up today, looking forward to discussing material reality without fear of being disappeared in the night. Especially as it looks like our twitter suspension is permanent

hmmmmmm ... that's interesting.

The link doesn't work if Spinster detects it is a link from another web site but if you just post the link into your browser it does seems to work.

Maybe this is a way to stop any post being targetted by hostile bots.

Sorry if I am confusing anybody but I am trying to work out the value of the space and it depends on who can see what.
