Has anyone signed up to spinster.xyz yet? It’s like twitter but without the misogyny. No banning for stating biological truths. See you over there hopefully

I have managed to change my mumsnet username so it's now same as on spinster. I was Lawlsie on here but I can't find the details to delete that account and be Lawlsie again, which is what I am in other places. Anyway nothing sinister in it! Just want continuity. I will follow all mumsnetters back over on spinster and use both sites!

Okay scratch my last post. I've just been banned from Spinster for, "abusing the reporting system after receiving a warning."

I didn't report anyone and I didn't get any warnings. My "gabs" - equiv to tweets/posts have been extremely vanilla. I hope it's a glitch but think I'll give it a miss. Ha! Miss. D'you see what I did there!

Okay, scratch that last post. Was a glitch. As I suspected it might be. I'm still there as MissLawls but previous "gabs" may be gone. Oh well. Easy come, easy go. I'd still like to support it as it's by women for women. I'll still support mumsnet too for pretty much same reason. I'm not a mum but I'm very pro women.

It was entirely predictable so I am sure (I hope!) the creators of spinster preempted it and put measures in place to protect against malicious reporting and attacks etc.

Gab has quite a reputation for the sort of content it hosts.

No, no they can't. I was reading a thread on a certain 'agricultural' site yesterday where trans identifying people were being discussed in the context of super-hero comics/films. One poster questioned why they didn't create their own super-heroes rather than insisting on transing existing ones. Another poster, astutely in my view, pointed out they don't want their own things, they want ours. They have an exciting new hobby and demand it be shoe horned into absolutely everything regardless of what anyone else wants or needs. They're like petulant toddlers but without the charm.
