Hello FWRs

Has anyone signed up to spinster.xyz yet? It’s like twitter but without the misogyny. No banning for stating biological truths. See you over there hopefully

The TRAs tend to be obvious on GC sites because they have the views of TRAs. They come on here and try and cover it up with a female sounding user name and sound as though they are competing in the woke olympics in an "I'm a disabled single parent WOC so my views trump yours" sort of way but are always obvious.
If they go on Spinster and sound just like us then they may end up becoming GC, there's some evidence that if you keep arguing a particular point you are more likely to end up believing it even if you didn't initially.
This is why it's important for us to be able to call a man a man and refuse to lie just to be "nice". If you keep calling a man she you end up thinking of him as she.

Why do you need to infiltrate if you are a woman?

I'm still lurking on there (having signed up with an obvious name ) but so far I am still not that excited by it.

Maybe it depends on what time of day you log in, as a lot of women seem to log in first thing for them, so never interact with those further east or west of them!

And also, have not seen any evidence of MRAs or TRAs. Maybe that's because the reporting and moderating is really fast.

But I am glad it is there. It is a really positive statement about women not letting male controlled spaces rule how and when we speak.

I think I would find it more interesting if Spinsters just stopped referring back to twitter, and endlessly dragging in what is going on there.

Maybe Spinster should say - okay you've had a month to detox from twitter, but as from now, just let it go and get on with building this as a pro woman space.

I think the Twitter thing is being stirred by attention-seeking TRAs. I don't suppose they'll back off, but once people have found their feet on Spinster they'll hopefully start to ignore them.

Alex has just posted to day he rebooted the server and that fixed it. I don’t think it was anything suspicious.

I've seen a couple of men, TEA types attempting stealth, claiming to be "GC!" (Oh men and their overuse of emphatic, "look at what =I= just said!!" exclamation marks eh?).

But they're like a nail sticking out of a floorboard. Because they only bother to act out their own perception of "We're all girls! together here! GC! Feminist!". And because clearly none have listened to or read enough women to really get a good grasp of how women communicate. They're male-socialised, so...you know..not as observant of detail as are women.
Bloody funny to see them perform though. And of course they crack a tanty when laughed at. So it just gets funnier.

I very much appreciate that on Spinster, we are able to describe men as men, no matter how they may identify. And that we are able to correctly call them men, without getting reported and deleted and put on the naughty step for a while.

I think that thing from googleplay has tipped me over the edge. I wasn't going to sign up because I really don't need another drain on my time in my life, but I don't like censorship even more.

Umm opps, I, like others, have to balance. And I’m shocking.

FermatsTheorem if we could reach a balance between MN and twitter and get a conversation I reckon, you with our other hard hitters (Lang, Datun, Red, et al), could push is there.

I can’t tell you how liberated I feel being able to talk freely on Spinster, it’s literally the only place and now Google Play have done that I hope more of you sign up. It needs support. MN restrict us far too much & I’m sick of walking on eggshells while MRA’s goad and harass us. I should be able to say factual things. Anywhere.

I would love to keep speaking with you wonderful women! I have learnt so much and been so supported here from members. I hope to see you there as I won’t be around here often & will dereg soon

Can anyone recommend some women to follow on Spinster? I've only tracked down one woman I recognise from Twitter so far.

Google and others are intent on crushing Spinster out of existence.
