I’ve been told that if you use a burner email address (a throwaway made-up one, used only for that site and nowhere else) and a VPN, you should be fairly untraceable.

Some amazing TRA frothing on Twitter. Saying we're all at one another's throats, and 80% of people there are covert TRAs. Also that guy harassing Posie who believes she's obsessed with him because she said, once , that she's ignoring him. The levels of delusion are sky high.

Spinster is great. Not a replacement for MN but fantastic for meeting other feminists without censorship.

So I've attempted to use multiple burner emails to sign up for spinster i.e. mailinator, guerrillamail, e4ward, etc... and it returns invalid email response for every single service so far.

Can someone pls recommend a burner service that won't return invalid?

Just create a new gmail or outlook account. I used a new outlook account, signed up, didn't like the look of it and cancelled. I can't even remember what the new random outlook account was. I'll never use it again. It was probably in one of the cats' names.

Thx all - don't want to use Gmail or Outlook as I have paid services with both and it wants to link business info to everything (based on security I have set up). I can't risk the possibility of compromise.

I deleted my previous Mumsnet account as I realised that the obsolete email I had used was still identifiable, and had to start again here. I've used a new name on spinster. It's a bit paranoid but I seem to remember when a certain doctor was busy doxxing someone he put 2+2 together and cross referenced her twitter and Mumsnet accounts. As only a mad psychopath with nothing better to do would do.

But it means no one knows who I am on any of the platforms. And it's good to get on spinster and track down people who were banned on twitter.

So it's a bit of a dilemma. Confused

I’m with others - its good practice to be careful. On a separate point, I think zero engagement is best, no matter the temptation. Cut off the supply.

Don't be scared by the hot air by the most inadequate of the TRAs. Prior appears to be particularly inadequate.
I am registered on a dummy email and unknown username.
The other thing you can do is post there as if it were twitter (but banning less likely). They can't prosecute anyone for posting on a website if they don't post anything prosecutable.
Moderate what you post (say it in an educated way) then what can they do?

No doubt they will make sock accounts, post a load of genuine transphobia, screenshot it, and then post it on Twitter alongside "look at all the nasty TERFs!"

They are not remotely interested in using persuasion to convince women of their cause.

Spinster (tbh) is a niche group of feminists wingeing at each other, eve my interest is limited. Why would they possibly care?
The TRA have Stonewall and all public institutions onside, why do a few feminists scare them so much?
