Great thread, thanks. Another 'confused' by the lack of TRA pile ons, odd isn't it, how they leave men alone and only scream at women?!

That Jack is a great ally. Good to see more men in the convo.

The lack of pile on is so overt it makes me think this would be an interesting topic for academic research, along the lines of: what % of male posters in the ratios mean that the TRAs sit it out, is the popularity (eg # of followers) of the tweeters a factor or the ratio of opinion etc.

Also, it is a great thread (thanks Jack) and interesting to hear men speaking so openly about their views on male violence/the impact on their lives.

I sent this to my DH. I think he finds being a peaked man a bit isolating, when so many men we know are ‘nice guy’ on the attached image - right down to the facial hair. (Not mine, via Twitter)

I mean, it's great. Really great. But what's it going to change? These men need to be doing something to help us, not just posting on Twitter.

It may not do much. However the TPA try to make out that everyone is on their side apart from a few nasty women. This shows that to be untrue, it shows a wide range of people, including beardy woke brewing bloke, are GC, it shows we have much wider support. It shows people take notice, hear what is being said, research for themselves...

Chilling I would add the tiny number of politicians that have put their heads above the parapet, Joan and Joanna in particular but also David Davis.

Certain journalists have also had a huge impact in bringing this to the public.

It's a great thread. Lovely to hear so many male voices supporting reason!

Are men ever called terfs? Or is it just us lady genteel types who are meant to die in a fire?
