I’ve just looked it up and it says there are certain family friendly spots. So those that go into the main parade with children are presumably doing it at their own desire and risk

I have been to leeds pride. No where does it say that the parade isnt family friendly, or warn parents about talking their kids near the tents. Or say the tents and or parades are for over 18s only.

That's the organisers responsibility, when they allow fet play at an event they tell people are family friendly.
