don’t you dare call me a liar. I have been called a man so many times on these boards than MN even had to step in to tell you all to stop doing it.

You are. You talked about trans people and used 'we'. Sp either you lied there or you lied when saying you werenr trans?

Which is it?

You dont get to tell me what I can and cant say. Both of your statements can not be true.

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:05

Et tu, Roses ? You just said "we" as well.

Um.... yes.
Because it was clearly aimed at us.
That much made even more clear from the "these two have been here for years" dig.

zebrasdontwearbras · 07/08/2019 11:05

I could’ve responded with ‘you bigots’ ‘you transphobes’ ‘you homophobes’ but I never have

Only because you would be deleted.

Interesting that you include "homophobes" though - since it is the height of homophobia to tell lesbians they have to include biological males in their dating pool - and that's exactly what those lesbians at Pride were protesting. And you don't agree with those lesbians protesting that homophobia. Strange that.

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:06

It's just more trying to discredit opinions.
Two disagree, so we'll smear them?
No.

LangCleg · 07/08/2019 11:06

Early, I don't care if you are a man, a woman, or a sacred trans clownfish. I care that you are entirely ignorant of the safeguarding of children. Ignorance is risk - because ignorance creates environments that are unsafe for children and enable abuse to occur. Risk is not just generated by those who carry out abuse; it is also generated by those who don't recognise safeguarding principles. I would suggest that you spend less time worrying about how others perceive you and more time filling in the ruddy great holes in your understanding of established child protection frameworks.

RedDogsBeg · 07/08/2019 11:07

The information I have posted about Peter Tatchell is factual, on record and in the public domain.

Earlywalker · 07/08/2019 11:07

MN have said they will delete the troll hunters who say Man, TRA etc too. Thanks for reminding me, I never report but I’ll go back now.

Datun · 07/08/2019 11:08

I don’t know enough about peter to know whether he’s a pedophile or not.

You've just won me a tenner. I knew you'd say that.

And you can take a damper over being called a liar. You, yourself, said that you were trans. You cannot be outraged over your own slip up.

But yeah, by all means, let's have the full on outrage. But not over Peter Tatchell leading pride. Because that won't fit your narrative, will it?

"The same Peter Tatchell who wrote a glowing obituary for Ian Dunn a co-founder of PIE.

The same Peter Tatchell who wants the age of consent lowered to 14 and further in some cases for consenting.

The same Peter Tatchell who described children between the ages of 9 and 13 having sex with adults bringing them great joy.

The same Peter Tatchell who contributed a chapter to a book entitled 'The Betrayal of Youth' written by convicted paedophile Warren Middleton. The chapter Peter Tatchell wrote is titled 'Questioning Ages of Minority and Ages of Consent' and Peter dismisses ages of consent as some quaint moral value left over from the Victorian era.

Interestingly the book is held under strict security measures within the British Library and has to be viewed under supervised conditions."

so I won’t be calling anyone a pedophile openly based on what you’ve presented.

Got it.

zebrasdontwearbras · 07/08/2019 11:08

You were the one who put your foot in it, Earlywalker, by saying "we" when referring to trans people.

We are only going by what you've posted.

Earlywalker · 07/08/2019 11:09

The we was clearly referring to the fact spartacus was saying those that disagree were getting hard ons.

Stop acting like you’re so naive. The whole ‘woman are idiots’ thing does no one any favours.

zebrasdontwearbras · 07/08/2019 11:10

But of course it could just be a ploy to get this thread taken down.

Don't want people seeing the baying crowd yelling at lesbians at Pride, those women must be silenced.

Don't want any talk of paedophiles infiltrating Pride, or sex fetishists with erections sitting with children.

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:11

People are allowed to disagree or have a different opinion. About safeguarding and the law? RED FLAG

NO. Not about that.
Safeguarding kids is ALWAYS important.
Where at Pride (Leeds Pride and any UK Pride) is there any evidence that there's paedophiles openly welcomed though which keeps getting stated?
Is it because of the fetish tents?
Don't agree with fetish tents being there myself personally, it's LGBT after all and not sure what fetish is to do with anything - but there's nothing at all to say that they're there to entice and hurt children which is what keeps getting implied.

zebrasdontwearbras · 07/08/2019 11:12

Here's a person (a transwoman I think, from the twitter account) at a Pride Parade giving lesbians the finger, for being lesbians.

Shocking behaviour towards lesbians at Leeds 'pride' today
Wishihad · 07/08/2019 11:12

You arent posting in good faith. No one actually cares wether you are trans or not.

But you have said you arent and then referred to we when talking about trans people.

That's not posting in good faith. You can not expect people to call you out on it.

If I said I was trans and then I wasnt. You would call me out on it. Would you not?

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:13

You were the one who put your foot in it, Earlywalker, by saying "we" when referring to trans people. We are only going by what you've posted.

Can people really not read? Do you think people reading this can't SEE what was put?
If you can't there's no hope.

MsMcWibble · 07/08/2019 11:13

Yes - they can't explain themselves and have been caught out - time to try to get the thread taken down.

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:15

*You arent posting in good faith. No one actually cares wether you are trans or not.

Why can people not pull up the shit that gets thrown if you disagree with any points on a post?
Before all this nonsense that Spartacus derailed it with, people were discussing opinions and posts,
Just because you don't always like some of the replies, doesn't mean people aren't posting in good faith.
WTF

RedDogsBeg · 07/08/2019 11:16

True, zebras, the only thing that matters to those posters is that lesbians who are standing up for the legal definition that describes them must be discredited, not listened to and denounced as trans phobic.

I would love someone to explain to me why stating that lesbians are female homosexuals is protesting trans people.

Wishihad · 07/08/2019 11:17

Thewewas clearly referring to the fact spartacus was saying those that disagree were getting hard ons

You specifically said trans. Not men, not people with penises. But Trans.

Don't agree with fetish tents being there myself personally, it's LGBT after all and not sure what fetish is to do with anything - but there's nothing at all to say that they're there to entice and hurt children which is what keeps getting implied.

They are at pride. Which has everything to do with sexual orientation. Not sexual acts.

They are attending something that is billed as a family event. That's about sexual orientation.

What reason do they have to be there. What reason do they have to be at public family event?

They are there to act out their fetish, in front of the general public. Which includes children. I am not implying it. I am saying it.

Outside pride, no one would be able to do this. Why arent people just wondering down the street on a wednesday afternoon with their dog collar and gimp mask on?

RosesAndRaindrops · 07/08/2019 11:17

Yes - they can't explain themselves and have been caught out - time to try to get the thread taken down

Can't explain what? Answers have been given to everything asked.
It was being discussed - if anyone's trying to close the thread down, it's the people chucking ridiculous accusations and smears around and expecting you to ignore

Earlywalker · 07/08/2019 11:17

I’ve just looked it up and it says there are certain family friendly spots. So those that go into the main parade with children are presumably doing it at their own desire and risk.

LGBT kids aged 13-18 also have specific sections.

I have also said I don’t agree with fetish’s openly being at pride but if they’re not harming anyone I don’t care that much. If children are told to join in with fetishes then obviously that’s wrong but there’s no evidence to say this was the case.

My issue is with people implying that LGBT communities and pride welcomes pedophiles openly

Listing a bunch of people from the LGBT community who are pedophiles or have been questionable does not prove this at all I could list loads of mothers who have killed children, sexually abused children. Is this proof that mothers are openly accepting of child abusers?! Fuck no.

Bizarre.

Also the mentions of Yaniv, I saw pink news posted a story on them in a positive way and all of the comments (from trans and LGBT people) were condemning them.

MsMcWibble · 07/08/2019 11:17

It's more ignoring questions, derailing and obfuscation that makes people think that posters are not posting in good faith.

Mis representing yourself as trans is not posting in good faith. You are convinced they arenr trans. They said they were. That's not good faith.

If I posted saying I was a lesbian and then that I wasnt. You would think that was good faith?

zebrasdontwearbras · 07/08/2019 11:19

It's a puzzler, datun.
