Well she said it, no one rewrites it I bet you mostly wish she didn't say stuff like that but few of you will actually denounce her probably because you are wearing her t shirts

SophoclesTheFox · 07/08/2019 08:17

If that’s the game we’re playing, it would take me a matter of seconds to harvest Twitter for rape and death threats posted by trans activists, whose views align exactly with those of the mob surrounding the women.

But, play stupid games, win stupid prizes - none of that has anything to do with these particular women. You’re just smearing.

VolcanionSteamArtillery · 07/08/2019 08:20

No, she uses the accessable toilet

Yep throw disabled people under a bus. Just so a woman doesn't have to be in the next door cubicle to a man....

SophoclesTheFox · 07/08/2019 08:20

“Denounce”.

Not the first time this word has appeared.

It has an interestingly authoritarian feel to it, I find. Which groups in history was it who liked a good, old fashioned bit of “denouncing”...?

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:20

SophoclesTheFox

but that's what we do on here all the time. lol

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:21

SophoclesTheFox

your group who have repeatedly asked People on here to denounce things that have happened. most of which I am happy to denounce as a don't like violance.

SophoclesTheFox · 07/08/2019 08:23

Is it?

Not in my experience.

Lol.

SophoclesTheFox · 07/08/2019 08:25

Oh good lord.

Denouncing people and disagreeing with ideology are not the same thing.

So back to the main point: what is your evidence that the lesbian protestors want trans people dead?

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:25

here again is why pup play is at pride.

"Whilst this practice appears to have its historical roots within the highly sexual gay Leatherman sub-culture, there is a division within this community between sexual and social play, with some participants eschewing the sexual entirely"

Wishihad · 07/08/2019 08:26

Batman dark night was billed as a twelve. My 13 year old wasnt allowed to see it because no matter what it was billed at, I as her parent didn't deem it appropriate.

Eh. Whata bloody batman got to do with anything? Batman = known film that was quite dark and violent. You decide your kid cant see it. Even though they legally can. Would have had a higher rating if sexual fetish play was involved. Never pitched as fun for all the family.

Pride = billed as a family event. Lots of parents might not have been but seen it's good day out for the family. Unknowingly involved them and their kids in fetish playing even the anywhere near the same.

As it stands I dont take my kids and never have. But it's not the parents fault for attending a family event.

Interesting about mentioning posie parker. I had a quick look on twitter. But actually got distracted by people posting that it was anti gay, to be anti kink. Do only gay people have links? Fetishes? I dont think that's true.

Pride is about protesting for rights. These protestors were doing that. The fetish play has no place there. Fetish is not a sexual orientation.

Lesbian protesting about their rights being infringed is what pride is about.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 07/08/2019 08:26

Pride is - or used to be -: the one place lesbians could feel safe to express their female homosexuality. No more. The only places now are in women's homes or prearranged meet ups that the women involved don't share with anyone else.

There was a thread on Reddit where some young lesbians were discussing having to meet in secret because their student LGBT socs were totally male dominated and they were under pressure to have sex they didn't want. If anyone had found out that lesbians were meeting they would have found student life intolerable.

This is so regressive and bullying. Lesbian rights are going backwards.

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:28

SophoclesTheFox

didn't say that I said I suspect they like posie and her view is that we should be dead. I make that leap of thinking by the fact they had her t shirts on. I don't think they want trans people dead, I don't think posie really wants trans people dead, she just likes to say hurtful things on the internet.

Whatthingsexactly · 07/08/2019 08:29

“...a place full of fetishists, perverts and paedophiles”.

That’s quite a leap, even for Posie Parker.

I’m not convinced lesbian and bi women will be onboard with that description of pride, however much some of them they may wish not to have Posie coming across like a rampant homophobe.

Wishihad · 07/08/2019 08:29

there is a division within this community between sexual and social play, with some participants eschewing the sexual entirely"

Ah so because some people say it's not about sex, then they can attend. We take their word for it.

How do they check that the ones attending and mixing with children, are the some that eschew the sexual?

Just the some?

2BthatUnnoticed · 07/08/2019 08:30

Every. Single. Institution. Where children exist, is at risk of child abuse happening:

  • schools, including boarding schools
  • sporting teams
  • guides, scouts
  • families
  • churches
  • clubs

And yes, LBGT organisations.

It is not personal, no one is attacking you. I’m Catholic - the Catholic Church had horrible policies which created loopholes which a small no. of predators took advantage of. And when people tried to discuss - the Church silenced them.

You can criticise the CC. I know it’s not a personal attack on me, a Catholic. I want the best safeguarding possible.

If people, including LBGT people, cannot raise institutional safeguarding concerns without “omg!! You’re calling us all pedos”, we have a problem.

By framing it as a personal attack / bigotry / kink shaming - we cannot discuss child safety.

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:31

Pride is - or used to be -: the one place lesbians could feel safe to express their female homosexuality.

Best tell the 1000s of lesbians that they are not safe at pride then, as I don't think they realised how much danger they were in while dancing and getting drunk. seriously People do get very drunk. at pride and especially when it's very hot that not a good thing.

MsMcWibble · 07/08/2019 08:32

Just skim reading to catch up.
Glad that Bespin has moved on from crowing about size - of the protest group - however none of the questions being asked (as summarised by Wishihad at 7.55) are being answered.
Still - the facts remain
A small group of lesbians were surrounded and intimidated for protesting their right to same sex attraction - at Pride.
Other groups including fetishists are welcome. Lesbians are not.
Bespin, your contempt for women is clear to everyone reading this.
I don't know, some people just want women to be compliant.

SophoclesTheFox · 07/08/2019 08:32

Frantic back pedal.

You wrote:

“Those woman that protested were not there to simply protest that one thing and I am sure some of them like and agree with people like posie who want us dead”

Bit of a difference there.

Wishihad · 07/08/2019 08:34

Yes lots of lesbians that follow the 'right way'of thinking feel safe at pride.

But many who are worried about their own rights, do not feel safe.

If a group of homosexuals dont feel safe at pride, because they are concerned about their own rights being eroded. Then there is a problem.

AlwaysComingHome · 07/08/2019 08:34

This crowd yelling at lesbians were okay with the paedophiles walking amongst them openly wearing paedo t-shirts.

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:34

really the sooner you drop posie from this the better it will be for all of us. People. you want to listen to you might if you stop supporting people like her.

Bespin · 07/08/2019 08:35

This crowd yelling at lesbians were okay with the paedophiles walking amongst them openly wearing paedo t-shirts.

oh let's see a picture of that, I bet its good.

VolcanionSteamArtillery · 07/08/2019 08:35

Whata bloody batman got to do with anything?

Somepne can tell me something is family friendly but ill judge for myself whether its something beneficial to my kids. Its called parental responsibility. Pride isnt something that sneaks quietly into your life or is secretive over what its about. If your child's their the parents have weighed up the risks and benefits of that child being there.

MsMcWibble · 07/08/2019 08:36

I know of a few people that trans activists should be dropping. Shall we do that again?

2BthatUnnoticed · 07/08/2019 08:36

Volcanian how did being a female homosexual, at Pride, make anyone unsafe?

Have people seen totally different footage to what I saw?
