Why do you care so much that the equality act doesn’t cater to transwoman or trans woman who identify as lesbians? Do you want them to face discrimination and get no legal protection?
UK law recognises "transsexuals" and confers upon them limited rights in the Equality Act 2010, since the GRA 2004 defines the existence of transsexuals while acknowledging that such definition means that no person can ever change their natural sex.
The UK GRA 2004 came into existence primarily to circumvent same-sex marriage, which did not become UK law until 2015.
UK law is clear .. no-one can change their natural sex.
What the GRA 2004 does is permit men who claim to be women [or vice versa] to marry another man [or woman], to claim their state pension at the age that females or males could claim their pension [before UK law equalised state pension ages] and to claim certain state benefits [before Universal Credit came into operation].
In 2019, the GRA 2004 is effectively redundant.
