As an example, the only ‘functioning’ the described surgically-created ‘vagina’ is capable of that similar to an actual vagina, is capability of being penetrated*.

Is that the only necessary ‘function’ of vaginas?*

That's the patriarchal view of women, so yes .
That's why I object to trans ideology on the basis of it being pure misogyny, as well as the child abuse we're now starting to see

Somehow it passed me by that they create urethras in the prosthetic faux "penis". Many if not most women will have reason to know how fragile the urinary system is, maybe having experience of cystitis infections, maybe damage and incontinence after childbirth. Complications like the accidentally knicked bladder or severed ureter during surgery are not quick to resolve. To willingly have one's bladder/urethra and urinary system refashioned like this is madness, it really is. And I really don't think one needs great medical understanding to spot the fatal error of using hairy arm skin to create a passage which should be lined by smooth epithelial membrane.
Likewise the problem of using hairy scrotal skin to create a faux "vagina", problems with hair growth are an issue. "First do no harm" seems like a quaint old adage, not something members of the medical profession should bother themselves with these days.

Well, we won't have to worry about climate change now, will we? It looks like there won't be another generation after this one anyway.
