This is a continuation of all that is JY and their waxing cases bought against minority women in Canada.

We are a fair way in, and still are no closer to knowing what the final judgment will be, but we have lots of info. and are finally seeing this case, and all the attending issues with self ID, in the public eye and main stream press.

Where we are with these cases
Today was the final summing up of the 3 cases of JY vs women / salons, there'll be no respondents there.
(And it looks like JY has already reached a financial settlement with Ivanhoe Cambridge. They are a massive global company that manages and develops commercial realty including Metrotown, the mall that the Merle Norman (1 of the 3 respondents today) was located in.)

JY and the waxers lawyer then have to EOB Aug 27, 2019 to written closing arguments.
JY is looking for substantive costs to be awarded.

JY then can submit a short reply by Sept 6th, 2019.

After that the member (judge) will make her finding. Could be months, but I think there'll be some pressure here as it's all over the media.
