Hi GirlDownUnder and JackyHolyoake - thank you for your welcome! I am reading and certainly sticking around :D

I have been reading about Labour's woman officer being a trans woman - I recognise that thought process. I am a former Labour Party member (I left because of the Party's stance on Brexit), I would have probably been one of the women who accepted trans women in women only shortlists - and proud of that. I shake my head at my naivety now - I was, as always, being 'nice' and 'accommodating' - as we are told women should be - and probably fawning to men - even their right to self ID as women. I now see trans women's wanting to enter women's only shortlist as another example of male entitlement and privilege.

I do though, I could copy and paste a couple of names and messages now but I'm not about to. If you think of a way I could prove it without posting dm's let me know.

But if TWAW on the basis of gender identity and all people claiming the gender identity woman should be treated as women for the purposes of incarceration, why does it matter how many there are?
