I did it once when a guy wanted laser hair removal treatment of the genital area (ouch). Back to @JCCFCanada lawyer cross examining JY. Lawyer ask to have screen shot entered as Ext #5. SS is from last summer and shows JY talking about immigrants. Lawyer says SS shows JY attitude to immigrants. JY says it was about Trump's wall.

JY is against immigrants' using their status to discriminate, estimates that they were refused by immigrants 150 times in last year. Ext 6 is now entered - another SS of convo supposedly showing JY laughing about asking immigrants in bathrooms, JY objects.

Lawyer says JY's rationale was targeting immigrants. Lawyer asks if JY's complaint was brought with "clean hands" was complaint made in good faith, if not it should be dismissed. JY says immigrants often provide services like Vietnamese for nails, East Indian people for waxing.

I think it is best to be very careful re identification irrespective of whether it is allowed in the UK/Mumsnet.

With no media reporting we are reliant on the person doing such sterling work on Twitter. Given the previous success JY has had getting people banned from Twitter I am nervous about the longevity of this poster on Twitter. We should respect her request.

This person (JY) is really ill. It’s painful to read the summary of their testimony. But I have a friend with a serious mental illness and the behaviour- delusions, paranoia, and absolute conviction that they are right and everyone else is wrong- it’s all there

If it weren’t for the distress caused to the beauticians, it would be funny.

But the complainant is just so ill. It’s desperate & difficult reading. This is someone who needs saving from themselves. Who is also not safe around girls and women - the period/tampon obsession is seriously worrying.

The man clearly has mental health issues. I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise given his behaviour, but how have we got to a position where people with irrational behaviour stemming from mental health conditions and personality disorders are able to hold individuals, charities, public services, political parties, businesses, and the Government etc. to ransom? (Not saying all people with MH conditions and PDs do this, just these particular people caught up in the TRA agenda.)

Gender dysphoria is no longer classified as a mental illness (am I right?) and so instead delusional identity is now a protected characteristic by law. And this is the extreme result.

Ditto paraphilias which were previously considered to be perversions but are now celebrated (at Pride at least).

Of course I have no doubt that many trans persons are able to manage their mental health and live a stable life. However most will admit to problems and many have severe mental health issues. They need help not access to the courts.

I would like to ask the OP if they could think about having the title changed to clarify that the tweeter giving an account of these events is not live tweeting from the court, as there is a restriction on this.

(If you read back through her tweets you can see there have been issues from JV accusing her of tweeting live during the sessions which has been prohibited. This was rather amusing as JY was using JYs laptop to help with their giving evidence and had agreed not to connect to the internet: however clearly was connected given that JY accused her of live tweeting and offered to show court officials her tweets)

She is very carefully keeping within the limits of allowed communication and her tweets are a summary of notes taken during the case, summarised after the event and keeping to the rules of the court ordered anonymity of JY (by not naming or connecting photos or info) It would be a shame to give any ammunition to allow accusations of live tweeting by the court through an inaccurately titled thread here.
