I wonder if the court is taking it so seriously so that when (I hope) the case is thrown out and JY has to pay substantial damages; there will be no grounds for appeal.
From the tweets - which are clearly taken from notes after each day's proceeding it is important to say - it seems that JY is being given a lot of opportunities to make his case as clearly and in as much detail as he demands. He is being given quite a bit of guidance & help from the "Member" - the person presiding over the hearing, who sounds wise & compassionate.
I'm hoping he's being given enough rope to hang himself, as they say. BTW, of course I don't really believe anyone should hang themselves or be hanged!
JY is ill and I can only imagine how his parent must feel. It's so sad.
