The kid who argued that there are only two “genders” permanently expelled.

So the story of the child who stuck to his guns and argued that there are only two genders, ( I’m thinking read sex here.) and recorded the conversation with the member of staff who argued that “not all policies are scientific.” Has now been permanently expelled according to twitter. Wtf. I’m sure the school will say hi him can’t have children recording staff. God forbid the outside world might know what kids are being indoctrinated into.

Its appalling that he just got shunted sideways into a different school at the same level as he was in Mearns. I know there is a huge shortage of teachers in the county but they need to set some standards.

Lass - that story about the assembly makes my dismay at the local school’s liberal use of Game Of Thrones imagery on notices etc on doors in school pale in comparison! I don’t see the need for authority figures to be “down with the kids”. A bit of distance doesn’t hurt.

It's just awful isn't it. And I don't believe the "moment of madness" excuses he gave.

This horrible man took the time to find the name generator, type in the pupils' names and note down the results. In doing so this vile man was mentally attributing to his pupils names containing explicit descriptions of sexual acts. The human brain is such that it would be almost impossible when thinking of the pupils concerned not to then think of them doing those acts.

He could, if he really felt the need to do something like this (although I'm completely failing to see any reason for doing so ) have used a Game of Thrones name generator.

I've heard rumours from teachers that there have been other issues with the teacher in that story Lass. I can't remember what else there was but his unblemished career was not so pure. General feeling from teachers I spoke to was he should have been sacked and removed from GTCS register. The premeditated sexualised act he carried out for that assembly should have got him sacked regardless of anything else major safeguarding red flag.

I actually had my first GC "in the wild" encounter over this today. I was talking to a woman in a coffee shop while waiting for my order, I was joking about how everyone always thinks my son is a girl and my daughter is a boy, and she launched into "omg I saw on the news..." She ranted at me about the Murray thing for ages and how of course there were only 2 "genders" and everyone had lost their minds etc. She said also that last year she'd had some flyers through her door with pictures of naked TW on them, I assume advertising "intimate services". The BBC and the Guardian can write as much shite as they want on this, but the general public is not on board.

After I left I realised I should have directed her to Mumsnet. We need cards we can give people or something.

I don't know, maybe she saw that article in the Evening Standard? I didn't ask. Maybe "on the news" meant "viral on twitter" haha. She was fuming over it though, said her partner was sick of hearing her rant about it. I thought "if only you knew how much crazier it gets". But the middle of Costa wasn't exactly the place for me to get into it properly with a stranger.

I did manage to explain a bit when she asked if "hermaphrodites" were a third "gender" though, that they don't actually exist but intersex people do and they're either male or female, not half and half. So much confusion out there over these ideas.

I would be horrified and calling the police if something like that turned up in my mat! Or am I just very sheltered? My dc are young teen/tween ages and I would be horrified if I had to worry about that coming through the door.

As for the flyers is it a crime posting naked photos through people's doors? I'd not be too happy if anything like that came through my door with children in the house. Do other sex workers put out flyers In this way, I've never heard of it before.

She said she phoned the number on the flyers and told them she'd call the police if they ever sent her anything like that again. Her 11 year old daughter had picked one up and been (obviously) upset and confused. She was living in Brighton at the time apparently so when she said about flyers I at first wondered if it was something the ReSisters had sent about the GRA. Then she said about the naked pics/ service advertising so obviously not. Brighton's gone mental with this stuff though I think.
