All hail the Daily Mail

Let's definitely not make this a slogan.

Yes, what is with all this 'heal the pain' crap? The NSPCC is a children's charity, dealing with children who are going through/been through unimaginable things, and safeguarding other children to stop those things happening to them.

The charity does not exist simply to validate its adult staff. Why does it feel like that is becoming their main priority?

Well intentioned HR-y initiatives like Time to Change alongside the trend towards elevation of ‘identity’ will tend to move things in that direction.

The ‘heal the pain’ psychobabble in respect of this episode is actually quite offensive when one considers, as the PP upthread says, the sorts of things front line CP deals with.
