Can’t look!

lazymare · 20/06/2019 15:13

Website says 15.35

ScottishDoll · 20/06/2019 15:28

Incandescent with this.

There are no rights missing for men who identify as transgender. None.

This is nothing to do with anything but a total removal of women and girl's rights in direct contravention of the equality act and the sooner these conversations lead with that fact the better.

Away with the GRA and to hell with any consultation about Scottish women that does not ask Scottish women and only Scottish women how they wish to be defined.

All this global wide suspect consultation for a chosen manipulative few behind closed doors ignoring the only people negatively affected by legal redefinition is insane.

dragongirlx · 20/06/2019 15:30

still on last statement - lots of questions to come may be a little later

happydappy2 · 20/06/2019 15:38

partisanpattiserie · 20/06/2019 15:48

equality impact assessments to be carried out - good

ClosdesMouches · 20/06/2019 15:48

This sounds fairly positive, no?

lazymare · 20/06/2019 15:50

I think they have listened

Apollo440 · 20/06/2019 15:50

Full consultation eh? So not just going with the flawed survey that said everyone wants self I'd.

Apollo440 · 20/06/2019 15:51

Just make sure that the women's groups consulted actually represent women.

Popchyk · 20/06/2019 15:53

I'm hoping that Westminster is listening.

They were due to report back in Spring 2019. They've got one day left.

partisanpattiserie · 20/06/2019 15:53

Fantastic that they've ditched the current LGBT school's guidance!!

nonsenceagain · 20/06/2019 15:54

Better than I’d feared. Thank you Joan McAlpine.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 20/06/2019 15:54

This is a good outcome. The government gets to save face with the trans community and also realise that if they want votes they had better not piss off women.

Her wording is quite clear. The timing is vague. Ideal.

MockerstheFeManist · 20/06/2019 15:54

LGBT Scotland's advice to schools was super and smashing and there was nothing wrong with it. But we're replacing it.

scalliondays · 20/06/2019 15:55

Yes - let's hope they intend to consult the xx type of women...

Popchyk · 20/06/2019 15:55

The women's group should automatically exclude all those whose stated position is that women are not affected by self-ID.

Can't have that bias going in.
