Barrister Sarah Phillimore and the NSPCC

Sarah Phillimore has reported the NSPCC to the charities commission, as they refused to confirm that either the allegations made about wanking@work are false or that they are investigating matter.

As she says, this is another Oxfam or Kids Company waiting to happen. Thank you Sarah for devoting your expertise to this.

Thanks for this! Being proactive and pursuing all of this is the only way. I am currently pursuing a complaint with Stonewall, and ready to escalate to CC if it gets nowhere with Stonewall. As I expect.

Thanks so much for this. I found the way the NSPCC tried to dismiss legitimate concerns over this matter very disturbing and they need to be called to account. Thanks you so much for taking this on.

I too have found the NSPCC behaviour in this worrying, especially the minimising, and it is particularly worrying that they are supposed to be the experts fighting for children and they behave this way.
