Can Owen Jones seriously be saying that’s fine? Why? Why does anyone want to defend that? Do we want it to be a normal thing that people do? I am honestly baffled.

I know Owen Jones feels very strongly about homophobia and sees what he considers transphobia to be equivalent and whilst I don’t agree with him on what constitutes transphobia and I am exhausted by his misogyny, I do understand why he thinks the way he does on that subject. But people filming themselves wanking at work are not a poor, oppressed minority who need defending.

You see what journalists do is look into a story for details. They do things like work out what the story is and what it's not. And then they look into the background and history of what happened and who was responsible for what and where there might be problem areas or conflicts of interest.

Rather than screeching online about discrimination without fact checking first.

To make sure they don't get egg on their face.

Are we expecting grey rock or reverse ferret from Owen on this one now?
