A thread to say thank you and to offer support to Transgender Trend

I have recently been reminded yet again why the brilliant work of Transgender Trend is so important. For this reason I want to say thank you so much and also say that I will offer my support in a practical way.

Can I suggest that a look at Transgender Trend's most recent tweets might be a good idea. They can be found on their website if anyone cannot access Twitter.

Oh and just a general reminder that we cannot link to crowdfunders on Mumsnet.

I'll be donating when I get paid - not advertising the crowdfunder, just saying I know it's out there and will be sending cash to support them.

Yes, hope a lot of people chip into the crowdfunder. It'd be fab if they got their £50k as fast as Maya Forstater did. They so deserve it.

I really hope that Transgender Trend feel well supported and as quickly as possible. I am sure that every little bit of support will help.

Such an important organisation that offers an alternative to the grooming and gaslighting that adult lobby groups are currently enabled to do in schools.

Happy to add my voice - as well as a contribution to The Thing We Can't Mention - in support of an organisation doing its best to hold the line against an elite project in queer theory undermining the safeguarding and protection of children in schools.

Safeguarding matters. Boundary-erasing, child development-ignoring ideologies have no place in schools.

I'm really glad to be able to support Transgender Trend's work, it is absolutely critical.

Pity they lied when they claimed that they hadn't wanted people to use their stickers in schools... the ones that were withdrawn amidst claims of encouraging bullying. The lie was, of course, exposed when various tweets emerged in which TT had praised those saying that they were going to use them in schools.

What did the stickers say paulaspoodle?

Can't remember exactly, it's more about the fact that they blatantly lied when they issued a grovelling apology over them following the bullying claims. 'We never intended them for use in schools'... oops here's a pile of tweets when we're saying 'good idea' to people talking about sticking them on their pencil cases etc.

Massive props to Stephanie. I've donated. Transgender Trend is a trailblazing game-changer, and I hope she makes her target asap.
