A thread to say thank you and to offer support to Transgender Trend

I have recently been reminded yet again why the brilliant work of Transgender Trend is so important. For this reason I want to say thank you so much and also say that I will offer my support in a practical way.

Can I suggest that a look at Transgender Trend's most recent tweets might be a good idea. They can be found on their website if anyone cannot access Twitter.

Oh and just a general reminder that we cannot link to crowdfunders on Mumsnet.

Such great news. The last update was overwhelming with the amount of work that TT are doing to support families.

So I had a look at the RCGP Twitter feed. They are under pressure from Helen Webberley and the usual suspects. Webberley states on the thread: "Two young trans people in my knowledge have ended their lives on the train tracks this year".

Webberley clearly trying to bully and manipulate them into giving them a seat on the RCGP steering group. Webberley does not volunteer the information that she is suspended from practice. The thread is from yesterday.

Bumping this as the thing that we can't mention has one more day. It's been a great success, exceeding expectations - but there's still a bit more time to support a superb organisation supporting families and schools.

I'm so pleased reading all the comments on the thing that can't be mentioned. The sucess of this shows how much support there is for Transgender Trend's work - today is the last day to show your gratitude!

Thanks Transgender Trend. I've donated and I hope others continue to do so.

My child's school is a Stonewall Champion and TT offered some helpful advice regarding contacting the school with my concerns.

There are so many red flags regarding GI, but those groups targeting our children are my biggest concern of all. There seem to be so many springing up now (my child's school also uses Diversity Role Models, so that's 2 groups I know of).

Especially since just yesterday they were criticising CCP for not having done any research/highlighted missing data for trans people in Invisible Women! Do they want research or not?

Isn't it just ChickenonaMug . Hundreds and hundreds of women and men showing their commitment to evidence based research and support for parents and their children.

I am very sure that Transgender Trend will achieve so much with this level of support. They will help an enormous amount of children.
