Eddy Izzard says women should be forced to share bathrooms with men

I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. Eddie Izzard is on Joe Rogan saying ALL bathrooms should be gender neutral and completely dismissed the concerns women have that Joe brought up. He dismissed it as “people always complain when there’s change”

The whole thing is so selfish and entitled.

Thank you!!! I was waiting for 8 pages for someone to mention it! Floor to ceiling unisex cubicles just give blokes plenty of time and privacy to plant their hidden cameras.

And I don't love the idea of a man being able to quickly push and lock women/girls in an entirely enclosed space...

As for Eddie, the shamelessly obvious desperation to stay relevant is laughably counterproductive. He couldn't be more textbook. So boring.

I'm guessing you weren't able to back up your initial assertion with a link. I told you I looked but I couldn't find it. If you can't find it either it leads me to believe it doesn't actually exist.

I totally agree with you KarenTheCashRegister I am sick and fucking tired of being expected to explain and justify why I don't want to share toilets, changing rooms and any other single sex services or provision for women, aka females, with men, aka males. A straightforward NO should be accepted and acceptable.

Ask men the question, a resounding NO is given and that's the end of the discussion no pushing it further it's just accepted. No requests to be nice, no accusations of phobia, no threats of violence, no whiny wheedling chorus of but, but, but.

No, I just don’t spend time doing unpaid work for randoms who demand me to. This is an issue much discussed on these boards with threads you can search for here. But I see others have managed what you were either too lazy or lacking in basic google skills to do.

From the above I don't really think @lookstallthepeaches actually wanted any links, because they mean our concerns about unisex toilets can't just be dismissed as irrational.

But we have idiot politicians and companies caving into the TRA’s demands all the time. We live in a patriarchal society and most of the people in charge of making these decisions are men. It’s definitely something we need to fight strongly against.

No, peaches will just come back with some waffle about not talking about unisex toilets, failing to grasp the logic that female toilets that allow male bodied people in them cease to be single sex spaces and become unisex, yes peaches that's UNISEX which is exactly what gender neutral means.
