Also GIDS using birth registered "gender". They really ought to know what sex their clients are before they start discussing their treatment options.

Completely pulling this out of my arse but kids seem to grow loads over summer - perhaps returning to school in September looking different/new class groups/ASD kids struggling with change means approaching doctors for referrals Oct/Nov?

And the beginning of summer spike is because you can’t hide your body so easily in summer clothing?

And May is exams for lots of kids = stressful time.

What do kids do over the summer holidays? More social media?

Or is it related more to when you can get a non urgent GP appointment? During the winter months, it's much more difficult as the GP is full of seasonal illnesses.

I've seen figures for the total number of referrals per year. I've also seen a breakdown by age or region but don't believe they have published referral numbers by biological sex, have they?

Common knowledge apparently, and apparently going to be investigated. Yes, it must be a total mystery to some why a FOI request would be necessary for this data that is supposed to be being investigated by the relevant authorities but isn't.

I don't believe Mordunt/Government will instigate an enquiry, she would upset Stonewall and the other lobbiests.

They would then have to look at their funding of these groups, the fact the government is supporting trans ideology, medication and surgery being promoted to children in schools. School/medical/councelling guidelines pushing affirmation only. The fact that research into desistance/regret has been prevented, parent and medical practitioners concerns are disregarded, professionals silenced out of fear. All of which his more important than the girls who are getting caught up in this ideology

Do they want to contrast the number of middle aged male transitioning versus the number of middle aged females while they're at it, just to complete the whole sorry picture?

Many of us do not believe there is such a thing as a trans kid and do not believe the born in the wrong body nonsense.

We are concerned that teenage girls are so over represented among the referrals to GIDS.

We are concerned that many are vulnerable children (ASD and/or other MH issues and they are not getting the appropriate psychiatric/psychological help for those conditions.

yes every talk and information I have seen or discussed with people have highlighted the number of trans masculine young people increasing in the last number of years and it being 3 to 1 which had been a change from a number of years back. in adult the numbers are becoming increasingly more even though this will change as people transition earlier.

Really? Do you have a source or link for that? You hardly ever hear of a 30 or 40 year old woman deciding to transition, whereas men transitioning the other way are everywhere. Why is that?

really I know a number of trans men who have transitioned in there 30s. maybe I meet different People to you.
also for social transition what age they feel ready to do that and thst they need to do that in.

it's 6am go find ya own stats I'm off to work the numbers of people wanting top surgury as increased. though the other numbers have too so who knows how it will all balance out in the end maybe it will never be even. they do get publicity trans men but loving in a patriarchal society people are not as interested unless they do something that goes against it

You’ve now made the assertion that the number of people requesting top surgery double radical mastectomy for non-disease purposes has also increased? How do you know that?
