Hi I'm a long time lurker, who read with disgust the last thread and wants to send , to caro. I've scanned since last thread finished for new one but no luck! Hope no one minds if I start one!

Just donated. Chose Gofund rather than blog/PayPal because I want people who are objecting to see that public fund rise.
And if there are any leftovers you are welcome to spend it on champagne and baths of asses milk as far as I am concerned Caro.

Can someone catch me up on what exactly is happening?

SH and haddock and Lisa (badgirl on Twitter?) and others from their coven convened a meeting on 'how best to deal with the problem that is farrow' (I think her existence burns them or something)

SH and haddock served papers on Caro in person. Yes, that's right, steph is so scared of Caro they went to Caro's house. Haddock waited behind a bush I think?

Caro has to be in court Thursday as summoned for harassment and scaring steph and others

Caro is being harassed and harried on all sides but seems to be as ok as possible

Funds are being raised to help

Haddock is on Twitter saying anyone that donates money will be jointly liable for costs - think he got a law degree in his cornflakes this morning!?

If I've missed anything I'm sure someone will fill the gaps.

The threats that everyone who contributes five quid to a fund magically becomes liable for the whole legal bill if the person being sued can't pay their costs is so batshit crazy that all you can do is laugh. How do they dream this stuff up?

I’m fairly sure SH didn’t turn up to Glinner’s home to serve papers in person. And yet they decided to travel to Caroline’s home, to a woman who has made no secret of her distress over their continued hounding of her and her family.

I think it’s quite obvious why that was. What a brave pair Hayden & Haddock are.

IANAL but... presumably to bring this about a lawyer would need to bring a case against Gofundme or whichever fund. Which one assumes would be hotly contested. If the case succeeded then would the fund in question simply hand over a list of names/bank accounts? A lawyer would then need to bring a case against each individual bank to get them to hand over contact details? Before pursuing each individual.
It would certainly keep a lawyer very busy for a very long time. And cost rather a lot. I doubt they'd have time for any other work at all.

It also appears that anything I post on these boards is screenshotted by this gang within minutes and winds up on Twitter. Along with comments about how my username is ridiculous because I have terrible lank hair.

I happily chucked a few quid into the pot this morning to support Caroline, like a PP I’ve done it through the go fund me so that it’s a visible show of solidarity.

It beggars belief that someone would try to scare people into not donating. She’s a human being, for fucks sake and even if everything that she’s accused of is true (which I don’t believe for a second), she’s still entitled to legal representation. Despicable.

Can’t lie though, if you ignore the malice, it was entertainingly stupid. Pompous git holds forth on subject he knows nothing about, gets arse handed to him

I’ve put a few bob in.

The legal brain of the house has dismissed any chance of third party costs being successful due to relevant case law around:
1)the definition of pure funders
2) the likely size of the individual sums involved in proportion to the costs of the case (proportionality)
3) the lack of notice of third party costs being sought in advance
Though it was a bit more complicated when he said it, that was basically the summary!

Realising the need to be mindful, one of the things which amazes me in all this is the openly stated intent by certain parties (none of whom are involved in the current action) to ensure that my life is effectively wrecked and we are financially devastated. There is even a gleeful blogpost speculating on the effect upon our children.

Another Twitter account threatens that if I think this week is bad I should wait and see what’s coming, my sad pathetic little life will be over and he has no sympathy.

All over hurt feelings on Twitter.
