Hi I'm a long time lurker, who read with disgust the last thread and wants to send Thanks, to caro. I've scanned since last thread finished for new one but no luck! Hope no one minds if I start one!

Just dropping by to say that a support thread is fine - but we're really not keen to rehash a lot of the fallout from Twitter. We've deleted a few posts that aren't in the spirit of the site.

Morning, everyone. We've put this thread back up now with a few deletions. We didn't want to make what already seems like a very difficult situation any worse for anyone involved.

Just a reminder of our talk guidelines - we'll have to delete anything that is a personal attack or breaks our guidelines in other ways.

Evening, everyone.

We're afraid we've had to delete a few posts here. As you might or might not know, we don't allow people to post links to crowdfunders on Mumsnet. But also, we feel that signposting people to crowdfunders elsewhere and that sort of thing, is part and parcel of the same issue, really.

We know that's disappointing for many people but we do have to apply the same rules fairly across the boards, regardless of what the cause is.

We're happy for everyone to be offering Caroline support here, but we think really this thread has to be a place for moral support only, rather than financial support.

Hope everyone understands where we're coming from. Thanks, as always, for your cooperation.
