Harry the Owl on Twitter was first contacted by police for "thought crime" and "retweeting" on 23 January 2019.

So the issue of "dead-naming" is a load of bollocks that the Trans Lobby is intent on gaslighting our entire society about.

With the rabid assistance of our law enforcement.

Procrastinator1 · 28/03/2019 10:37

Is the inclusion of Harry on the "crime" page a result of the police sending the Hull Daily Mail a press release does anyone know?

Datun · 28/03/2019 10:52

Harry has said it is their assistant chief constable, their press office, and their inspector Wilson.

Whether they actually released a press release, who knows.

But no crime has been committed. It is the police who have acted as though Harry has done something wrong.

They are directly responsible.

MoltenLasagne · 28/03/2019 10:53

Has Harry even been charged with anything? My understanding is he hasn't even been charged, let alone convicted. If not, surely including him on the crime page is libel?

Ereshkigal · 28/03/2019 10:54

If he crowdfunds for a legal challenge I would be happy to support. Fucking outrageous.

Datun · 28/03/2019 11:14

He hasn't been charged with anything because he hasn't committed a crime.

He has been told that his political position upsets people who are opposed to it. By a police inspector.

I'm assuming Harry has a lawyer. He runs his own company. I urge him to use that lawyer.

MoltenLasagne · 28/03/2019 11:25

He hasn't been charged with anything because he hasn't committed a crime.

Well precisely, so what the heck are they doing putting him on a crime page? I honestly thought I must have missed him being done on a trumped up charge but they haven't even done that. I'm another that will donate to any crowdfunding if Harry needs it.

nauticant · 28/03/2019 11:30

It looks bad (probably because it is) but I'd like to know the mechanism of how the police discuss things with the local paper and how an article gets assigned a "crime" or "police" heading.

theOtherPamAyres · 28/03/2019 11:33

A reporter from the BBC sat in during the Humberside Police training session.

A trans DJ did a fabulous job, bringing out all the issues and arming the officers (and CPS) with accurate information that would improve their performance. (There's a gem in the article - referring to transgenderism as "biological" not something you choose - and then describes the pathway of your typical AGP)

Not. Humberside should ask for a refund, since the training has turned out to be manure that the public keeps chucking back in their faces.

The first time we heard about Harry and the Keystone Cops was back in January, when a "woke" PC contacted him about the "non crime".
That PC was also from Humberside.
Surely the Humberside plod are not so dense that they ignored the outcry from loads of ordinary people, that they have now got an inspector involved in this farce.
This should be something the PCC is looking into.

beagadorsrock · 28/03/2019 12:17

I wonder if since the cases brought by the TRAs have failed so far, the new tactic is to goad GC people into suing them, just to get into court?

Yesterday I was a bit bored and looked up Humberside - lots of police regions have a separate Police Commissioner Ethics Committee, guess which one doesn't?

PreseaCombatir · 28/03/2019 13:13

That is an absolute disgrace. How dare they Angry

RedDogsBeg · 28/03/2019 15:17

That is outrageous.

As the Americans put it 'Lawyer up' Harry.

This cannot be allowed to continue.

We @IndexCensorship are seriously concerned about apparent rise in police intervention on issues of legal speech in UK, particularly apparent confusion between speech that social media platforms might choose to outlaw under their terms of service and legally permissible speech.

Twitter's "hateful conduct" policy and confusion about what and is not permissible under terms of service does not help. But, more broadly, the "you can't say that" mantra is morphing from online to offline and impacting the way speech is policed.

We are discussing this with @Twitter and have raised with @Law_Commission as it reviews hate crime law, and with @HumanRightsCtte. We will also raise with @PoliceChiefs.

We're considering how we can reform laws on "gross offence" etc.

Bluestitch · 29/03/2019 17:43

More offensive nonsense from Humberside Police, with their official forms conflating intersex with transgender and using the term 'hermaphrodite'. Brilliant twitter feed though from people taking them to task over it.

And the fab MRKH too.

KatvonfeelzlikeaMAN · 29/03/2019 17:50

They've been bang out of order conflating DSD and trans. How many times must people tell them not to do this.

RepealTheGRA · 29/03/2019 18:15

JFC. There are no words.

ThePurportedDoctoress · 29/03/2019 19:36

South Yorkshire Police use the same offensive wording:
"For monitoring purposes the term Transgender is used to include: Hermaphrodite/Intersex, Transgenderist, Transsexual, Transvestite"

Humberside police worker jailed for child grooming.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-47777702

"A former Humberside Police employee who had sex with a 13-year-old girl he had groomed has been jailed for eight years. Barnaby Cooper, 40, who was based in the force's customer services crime team, sent the girl explicit messages and videos. Cooper admitted nine child sex offences at Hull Crown Court".

But hey, Humberside police have much time to investigate limerick non-criminals.

NeighbourhoodAttackKitten · 03/04/2019 11:08

It's just awful, poor harry

they keep going after people for malicious communications and its not fair, ever since the London riots the police use that act to pursue anybody who says something they do not like

Poor old Harry we all love him

sad face

Popchyk · 03/04/2019 11:26
