And, as she says in the thread:

"Meanwhile a group of people have terrified and harassed my family. Doxed my children, made violent and sexual threats, signed me up to porn accounts, did the same to my husband, threatened to visit here. And tumbleweed..."

If I was Victoria Derbyshire, I'd be embarrassed by the derision expressed about me on a Mumsnet feminist board.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 20/03/2019 09:53

That screen shot from Stephanie, oh the irony. So Susie uses her contacts to have false claims investigated, but the accused cannot speak of it at all because ‘ it’s a breach of the law’. This is the one that pretends they’re a lawyer, right?

Oh and nobody on Mumsnet should know or talk about it or make complaints about anything at all, because only twitter can be used for stuff like that. Twitter where their rules are based on TRA ideology. Oh how it must irritate Stephanie that they cannot control every single space on the internet.

RedToothBrush · 20/03/2019 09:54

Also Steph H seems to think Mumsnet and Carro managed to get the case discontinued if I’m reading this tweet right!?

Exactly.

It's a smear on MN users and playing to the gallery.

This is why there needs to be transparency on this, and if there are complaints made of this nature we need to see it play out and if there is a suggestion of it being deliberately a political act rather than an act to stop a crime then that needs to be stopped.

I think the police and CPS are now being massively manipulated and there needs to be steps taken to address this.

Sexnotgender · 20/03/2019 09:55

Late to the party but fucking hell. Look forward to reading your article on Sunday Caro. Susie Green needs to fuck right off.

Needmoresleep · 20/03/2019 09:58

So Steph does not think it is for society to decide what they consider what is acceptable behaviour and what should be criminal.

Given the numbers reading either MN and major national newspapers, and the pretty unanimous reaction, I would have thought they pass as a reasonable short term proxy for societal views. And indeed presumably why Susie Green may have withdrawn her complaint. A realisation that she misread the room and overplayed her hand.

clitherow · 20/03/2019 09:59

I cannot appear on the media discussing something under police investigation when I do not know what I have done other than “misgender”. That’s all I know.

I'm so sorry that you are still in the dark about this Caroline, it must be so stressful. It seems to be one of the tactics in these cases to leave people in the dark as long as possible and allow people to flounder around, social media hysteria to build and so on. It seems that they actively want to create as much confusion as possible.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 20/03/2019 10:00

Given that trans groups have written and trained in the use of, most of the policies used by all public services including the police and CPS, how on earth can anyone allege that Mumsnet of all places can influence prosecutions?
If only we had that type of power there's a whole set of changes we'd be making PDQ!

R0wantrees · 20/03/2019 10:04

AR "Absolutely we have seen like an epidemic almost of Hate Crime being reported.. more and more people reporting, more and more having the courage to report.

So Susie Green, Mermaids, TRA trainers etc teach what is 'hate crime' and there is an epidemic of reporting?
This does not mean that there is a rise in actual crimes/transphobia etc
Sonewall reports about rising transphobic hate crimes are self-selecting surveys where respondants describe what they believe to be hate crimes.
Susie Green CEO Mermaids has apparently made numerous reports of 'hate crime' another Mermaids volunteer (Helen Islan) pursued a case against Miranda Yardley (who is transsexual) with allegations of transphobia. None of Susie Green's complaints seem to have resulted in the police making charges (yet?) & Helen Islan's allegation which was taken forward by CPS was dismissed by the judge.

article by Miranda Yardley,
When a Transsexual is Prosecuted for ‘Transgender Hate Crime’
POSTED ON 16TH MARCH 2019 BY MIRANDA
(extract)
"On Friday 1 March, ten months of uncertainty and fear for my public reputation came to an end as a District Judge told a CPS prosecutor that the prosecution they were bringing against me for harassment under s2 of the Protection From Harassment Act 1997 was a baseless, politically motivated case and should never have come to court. I was awarded costs from the CPS, and this bizarre farce where a transsexual was being prosecuted for ‘transgender hate crime’ reached an abrupt end. After all this, there was no case to answer.

fHaving listened to two hours of evasive video evidence from a complainant who continually hid behind her claims to be protecting her ‘transgender son’, the judge had lost patience. Addressing the prosecutor he asked ‘where is the evidence?’, the prosecutor seemed almost embarrassed, admitting this was essentially a single tweet and the complainant’s rambing, incoherent testimony. The judge responded that the Crown had failed to establish a ‘course of conduct’ and that there ‘never was a case’. Game over.

This was a bizarre case where I, a transsexual who transitioned over a decade ago, was charged with a ‘transgender hate crime’ against someone who is not transgender. A spat on Twitter in February 2018 had led to a police complaint, in the April I was visited at my door by two police officers from my local force acting on behalf of West Yorkshire Police. The officers told me I was to attend the police station to be interviewed under caution for ‘hate crime’, harassment and malicious communications. I attended voluntarily, and after the reading of a prepared statement I responded ‘no comment’ to questions. Following this, I had biometric samples taken including fingerprinting.

Ironically, what this case has demonstrated is what we have seen as a ‘course of conduct’ from transgender activists and in particular from the transgender advocacy charity Mermaids: the complainant Helen Islan is a volunteer with this charity, providing marketing and social media services to the charity. Islan had accused me of ‘doxing’ her ‘transgender son’, on the basis of my having tweeted the first page of a Google search of her name. This contained a small image of her and her children from one of her own social media accounts." (continues)

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 20/03/2019 10:09

Julia is great.

‘I can show you the documents’

In all my life, I’ve never needed to show that I’m female with ‘documents’. In addition, none of their doctors ‘documents’ would say they are female. None. A woman is an adult human female, which India is not.

sackrifice · 20/03/2019 10:11

The US Dr laughs (fondly?) about how he added in extra hormones to ensure that Susie Green's child did not fulfil his height potential as this would be more noticeably tall for someone intending to identify as a woman.

Oh yes how we all laughed.

Confused
Needmoresleep · 20/03/2019 10:11

Finding Neverland seems to be a documentary simply putting things that individuals already knew, together in one place.

The Other Side of Jimmy Savile was a documentary putting together things that individuals already knew, together in one place.

How long will we have to wait for the documentary that covers the current gaslighting, influence, and possibly dark side of the TRA agenda.

ClingFilmApplications · 20/03/2019 10:11

Hopefully gender critical people will tweet on the VD timeline, so it doesn't get flooded with coordinated TRA comments that the show the broadcasts as the balance of public opinion.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 20/03/2019 10:13

How long will we have to wait for the documentary that covers the current gaslighting, influence, and possibly dark side of the TRA agenda.

How long indeed.

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 20/03/2019 10:17

all comments on Victoria Derbyshire's Twiiter are highly criticial of SG and indeed the BBC.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 20/03/2019 10:17

Does the FGM legislation specifically mention which organs need to be cut and interfered with?

Yes, very much so. Fgm has 4 stages and each stage is listed in detail so absolutely wouldn't be valid here as Jackie didn't have labia cut off/sewn up, etc.

NicoAndTheNiners - thanks for clarifying re FGM.

Although, I would say that that legislation relies on words like "labia" "clitoris" etc meaning what they actually mean, but as we now know, words have no meaning and a penis is now just a big clitoris (or "Clit on a stick". If you change the meaning of words, as we're allowed to do now because it's transphobic not to, then no reason why this shouldn't count as FGM.

Quick little dog whistle and a knowing wink to my UK-based followers interested in trans stuff: make sure you tune in this morning to Victoria Derbyshire at 10:00 am on BBC2 / BBC News. Do your thing re: recording, capturing screenshots and uploading to YouTube 😉👍🏼🏳️‍🌈

Sexnotgender · 20/03/2019 10:18

Ironically VD is currently featuring abuse of (mainly) women by tech abuse and gaslighting...

R0wantrees · 20/03/2019 10:19

Finding Neverland seems to be a documentary simply putting things that individuals already knew, together in one place.

To get to a point where victims are able to speak out and receive a respectful audience takes a great deal.

Guardian article by Dan Reed:
I’m shocked by those who still won’t accept Michael Jackson as abuser
The director of Leaving Neverland on the polarised reaction to his landmark film
concludes:
The most extraordinary thing in all this is that no one denies that Jackson took little boys to his bed, night after night, for many, many years. What did his family and business associates think he was doing with these little boys behind a locked door? Did they believe he was actually a child in the body of a man and therefore somehow needed to sleep with little boys? That makes no sense if you think about it for more than a second.

Why has it taken 30 years for Jackson to be unmasked? Here in the UK we were all asking the same question after Jimmy Savile.

The answer has something to do of course with the dazzling glare of celebrity and our instinctive deference to talent and wealth. But it also has a lot to do with collective ignorance. Joe Public – that includes me before making this film – has no idea what grooming by a predatory paedophile looks like. Why didn’t the kid go running to mummy as soon as he was groped? This is partly why so many victims take their shameful secret to their graves.

Leaving Neverland is a humble attempt to change that, and light a beacon for those who, when the time is right, may wish to break their silence and confront their abuser, alive or dead."

Needmoresleep · 20/03/2019 10:19

How long indeed.

I can't see Susie Green coming out of any historical review very well. An unqualified mum, who could well have Munchhausans, not only taking her child abroad for what at best might be called untested treatment, but who then gets huge amounts of public money to influence other kids and our establishment.

TimeLady · 20/03/2019 10:20

Interesting....Kirkup's article was first released on the US version spectator.us

Now it's up on spectator.co.uk, the Twitter screenshots and the SG video mentioned upthread are no longer there
