And, as she says in the thread:

"Meanwhile a group of people have terrified and harassed my family. Doxed my children, made violent and sexual threats, signed me up to porn accounts, did the same to my husband, threatened to visit here. And tumbleweed..."

That is an excellent article from James Kirkup!

I like the way he wrapped it up - really underlining the 1984 thought police aspects

TimeLady · 20/03/2019 08:08

Indeed, Lang

Including the Twitter quote This is Susie Munchausen-by-proxy Green, laughing about her child’s puberty blocked micro-penis was inspired Grin

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/03/2019 08:08

The charity perhaps? Their lottery and charity funding?

boatyardblues · 20/03/2019 08:08

I love that Harry has Thelma and Louise on his Twitter profile. 👏

Bowlofbabelfish · 20/03/2019 08:08

Excellent article from Kirkup. Journalists need to realise that if the law changes to allow this, it sets a precedent that can indeed be used to silence them.

The TRA lobbying primarily affects women and girls but it links into a much wider push to remove basic civil liberties - what we can say, think and believe.

those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin

SlipperyLizard · 20/03/2019 08:08

I’d heard of that video where Susie Green laughs about the small penis, but never seen it. Truly shocking for a parent to do that publicly.

clitherow · 20/03/2019 08:10

We still have shark who was arrested in front of her children and put in jail by police for Something said on twitter and hasn’t heard what is happening to her

I am so pleased for you Caroline, but this went through my mind too. Is there anything more that can be done for shark?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/03/2019 08:11

Why laugh? Why film? Why post?

That’s really not nice - horrible parenting behaviour. Haven’t parents in the states been convicted for setting up ‘pranks’ on their kids and filming them crying (ie your puppy is dead! Wahhhhhh! No kids - gotcha!! Type thing but worse). I believe it was something to do with their child’s rights and being demeaning.

OrchidInTheSun · 20/03/2019 08:11

It's a real shocker isn't it slippery?

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/03/2019 08:11

Can Green withdrawing the complaint make it all go away though? Isn't it down to the CPS whether it's pursued or not now?

Pretty sure Helen Islan said something about it being CPS's decision to pursue her initial complaint about Miranda.

jay55 · 20/03/2019 08:16

Do we know if the complaint was that Susie was harassed for being accused of having a son, or if it was their adult child who was being harassed?

Skittlesss · 20/03/2019 08:21

BoreofWhabylon

I don’t understand how the CPS would be involved at this time. They normally authorise a charge after the Police have done an investigation. So by the time the CPS usually find out about a case there’s already been statements taken, evidence gathered and an interview conducted.

Unless, of course, it’s an offence that the Police are able to authorise charge on. They don’t find out about that until the charge has been made and the person charged/summonsed to court.

The CPS tend not to like giving guidance at the start of investigations, in my experience - which has been with rape cases, so I don’t see why they would be happy to give Investigation advice for an “offence” such as this.

They certainly don’t authorise an arrest. Nor would an officer need a warrant to arrest someone (in these circumstances).

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2019 08:21

2 people from the same charity mermaids able to get the police to investigate people for no crimes

That’s our money
How does that work
And didn’t mermaids host a Xmas party for a police force or did the police force host a Xmas party for mermaids ?

JackyHolyoake · 20/03/2019 08:21

Watching GMB discussion:

Let's get something straight here: "transgenderism" is a deceit.

I reject this gaslighting of society wholeheartedly. No human can ever change sex. There is no such experience of "being born in the wrong body". There is no such thing as a female or male brain.

I will not pander to this deceit. I will never use pronouns to propagate such deceit.

These adult males who claim to be "women" and demand access to women's spaces, services, advancement schemes, sports are autogynephiles.

Let's have an honest and open society wherein these autogynephilic men can live as they want to live as the men they are.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/03/2019 08:23

I don’t know the law but wasn’t the fact that she took her child where she did and organised the procedure (illegal here now, legal there not not now) - was that ever refered to the police or social services?

I’m pretty sure if I took DS (who is 14) abroad and he wanted to get a tattoo and I said ‘ok’ I’d have a tap on the door by the SS when I got home.

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2019 08:24

Then of course we have posie and glinner being interviewed by the police

How did the police allow themselves to be weapons for trans activists

Popchyk · 20/03/2019 08:25

Susie Green is going on Victoria Derbyshire today. Caroline has declined to attend - she's signed a deal with a Sunday paper so can't discuss before that article comes out.

This from Caroline:

twitter.com/CF_Farrow/status/1108277067899121664

If anyone is interested Susie Green is going to be discussing her complaint and my ‘distressing spiteful transphobia’ on @vicderbyshire this morning. I was invited on the show but declined.

I hope Victoria Derbyshire doesn't let her get away with anything.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/03/2019 08:26

The the funny thing is - all police officers I’ve spoken to (I tend to chat when I’m stuck behind a cordon or a demo) are down to earth, often on the non pc side, and not airy fairy.

Where are all these P.C. Buttercups?

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/03/2019 08:27

Thanks Skittlesss. All very murky, glad some air and sunlight is being let in at last.

LizzieSiddal · 20/03/2019 08:27

Victoria Derbyshire is very pro Metmaids.

Skittlesss · 20/03/2019 08:27

*I don’t know the law but wasn’t the fact that she took her child where she did and organised the procedure (illegal here now, legal there not not now) - was that ever refered to the police or social services?

I was thinking the same and also, how is that procedure ok but FGM isn’t? I don’t advocate FGM, but surely it’s a comparable situation?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/03/2019 08:28

This woman shouldn’t be on tv. She is not an expert on anything and i think she is horrid. She has one axe to grind and I hope Victoria asked what her links to the police are.

Janie143 · 20/03/2019 08:28

I wouldn't hold your breath that VD does anything other than support SG

Skittlesss · 20/03/2019 08:29

Where are all these P.C. Buttercups?

Higher up the food chain. Check Twitter, for example, it’s usually the “inspector” type ranks who are Stonewall Allies etc.

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2019 08:29

No chance with that Derbyshire will do her special sad face
Seen that before with her on trans issues

Bbc so biased
