I am another person confused over how anyone could read Christie’s response as anything other than offence at McKinnon equating black women to men. How can the woke notice when arseholes insult Serena Williams by calling her masculine, but give a pass to TRA logic like McKinnon’s?

So it is the same as saying, that a white woman who identifies as a black woman, spray tans her skin, is a true black woman. How offensive and untrue is that, basically that is what RM is saying, totally ignoring the fact that they are biologically male with a male body and structure, they will always be male however much they feel like a woman. If he felt like a woman than he would understand why women are so angry, but he is banding about his misogny to silence women.

I was pointing out that it would lead to an interesting circular argument, that if transgender people really felt like the opposite sex, then they'd realise they don't feel like the opposite sex. Whole theses could be written about it.

I agree Lweji it is ludricous it can't get more stupid that what it is. This kind of this is a real threat to women's sport. You have XY chromosomes you play against the men with the same type of body as you, same, transmen should play against women. They probably would be happy with that as they would not really stand a chance against biological men.
