A timely, if incredibly worrying reminder, that we should view all stories about minorities from our press with extreme skepticism. I hope this is the only fabricated inflammatory anti-trans story our press has published, it would be awful if the debate regarding trans rights was being used as cover by bigots to spread anti-trans hatred.

Sorry to be boring but going back to IH I have a question. People who supposedly misgendered him by saying he was a man when it was thought he was identifying as a woman were slung off Twitter? So they are now innocent and should have their accounts reinstated as he is in fact a man, always has been and now says he is?
Meanwhile those who insisted he was a woman? Should they be retrospectively banned for misgendering?

Prisons are segregated by sex not gender. Why do you think we segregate prisons? Is it because some prisoners like to wear dresses and shave their legs and other might prefer weight lifting and football? Or is it because of sex based violence? Risk of abuse, pregnancy and the fact the females would be extremely vulnerable?

All of these happened, including Paul Denyer, who said of women, in an interview with police, “hate women. Just hate them.” After he murdered three of them, including the mother of 22 day old child.

The right to be placed in a prison according to gender is an interesting one.

The UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners are pretty clear at 8(a) about the right to single sex facilities.

Well yes, if womens prisons are so awful for transwomen, there is a glaringly obvious answer to this. Prisons are (meant to be) segregated by sex, not gender. So a transwoman getting a hard time in a womens prison..well they shouldn't be there to start with

The point is not that anyone should put up with being in danger. It's that women deserve not to be put at risk just because some men are at risk in the make estate.

Everyone who isn't a complete fucking pillock who doesn't care about practical measures to keep transpeople safe or about women at all knows that the answer is a third space.

The only reason to press for male bodied transpeople in the female estate and ignore the case for third spaces is because the Genderist religion prizes 'validation' above everything - which is precisely why the craven idiots were defending Huntley's contested desire to be a woman.

Wriggle around as much as you like, Genderists, but whatever you say now, you've shown in this debacle what is important to you, and it isn't trans people or women. Your religion sucks.
