www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/transgender-women-should-entitled-womb-13972102

"Because once the medical community accept this as a treatment for cis-women with uterine infertility, such as congenital absence of a womb, then it would be illegal to deny a trans-female who has completed her transition.

"The most important step is the harvesting from the donor as great care is required to avoid damage to the arteries and veins supplying the uterus.
Trans females have a much narrower pelvis than cis-women of the same height, but there would still be room for them to carry a child.

“Supplemental hormones could be taken to replicate the changes that occur in the body when a woman is pregnant.

Coach can you tell us more? Which police force, did they phone you or come knocking on your door and how did they know who you are & how to find you?

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:19

I would demand to see the actual complaint, CoachBombay. I don’t th8n’ it’s enough that the particular police man said there was no crime committed. He still interviewed you. The complainant either lied, about what you did, or the police wanted to make you back down. Either way, I would lodge a complaint.

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:28

I think I know who reported me (forensic of a friend.of a friend kind of thing) and they came to my house.

I know 100% that it's regarding a non private conversation on a social media platform. Of which I showed to the police willingly without concern.

It was apparent that what had been reported was false as I was told, "this is not what we have been told was said."

I have asked for feedback, the officers said it has been a false allegation against me and no further action will be taken.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 13/02/2019 19:31

Aren’t false(or crap) allegations a crime?

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:34

Yes they are I believe but that would be up to the police to sort out I suppose 🤷 I'm not sure on that one sorry.

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:34

I have asked for feedback, the officers said it has been a false allegation against me and no further action will be taken.

That’s not good enough. I thought making a false complaint was against the law.
The criminal offence of making false allegations is covered under the common law offence of perverting the course of public justice. The actual wording of the offence is 'Where a person deliberately makes a false allegation about an offence in order to have a person arrested.

littlbrowndog · 13/02/2019 19:43

What is wrong with people running to the police all the tim3 for a convo on social media
Ffs

AssassinatedBeauty · 13/02/2019 19:49

Why did two police officers need to come to your house? Surely a report of something on a public social media conversation can be looked at by a civilian police employee using a computer? It's a shocking waste of police time.

IDoN0tCare · 13/02/2019 19:51

I couldn’t stand Margaret Thatcher, but by fuck, talk about the nanny state!

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 19:53

We live in a small rural area, can't be much for the police to do on a Wednesday night round here....😂

misscockerspaniel · 13/02/2019 20:05

CoachBombay Astonishing Wine Wine Wine

ICJump · 13/02/2019 20:07

Oh Coach that is utter bullshit. I’m sorry.

FeministCat · 13/02/2019 20:57

That is crazy, Coach. I am glad the officers at least had the good sense to realize the reports were false, and be on their way.

Someone does need to crack down on those making these kinds of false allegations though; I hope the officers went back to investigate with the complainant a little more (perhaps if they were bored enough Wednesday night...).

Smotheroffive · 13/02/2019 21:19

This is very common, very common. False allegations from every quarter, not just trans crap. Amazing the police even followed it up, its a sign of how crazy fucked up this all is that they actually did.

Smotheroffive · 13/02/2019 21:20

Yes, evidence was clear proof of false allegation, and for the protection of UK's citizens they should have a duty to pursue this bloody nasty tra

CoachBombay · 13/02/2019 21:23

I'm also glad they realised it was nothing but a fabricated, malicious lie! I've never been so humiliated in my life, I did that British thing when you apologise for no reason, like I had wasted their time?! 🙈

I have a feeling they will go back to the complainant, they didn't seem overly impressed by the whole fiasco.

I can't blame them, because I think there is a huge push on clamping down on "hate crimes" so they probably have targets to meet and adhere to, however having said that I think more needs to be done to safeguard people against false accusations!

Arkengarthdale · 13/02/2019 21:31

Well I think a false allegation is a hate crime so would want that investigated. They've said something about you that isn't true, haven't they, because of your beliefs and who you are? Hate crime

R0wantrees · 14/02/2019 08:13

I fucking shit you not, I have been reported to the police for a hate crime for discussing the ethics of all this.... Once the police spoke to me the officer decided it was nothing, and I was quite able to question the ethics of experimental medicine....

This world has literally gone mad!!!

Coach It has
Flowers

R0wantrees · 14/02/2019 08:17

The Police need to start considering further action against those who are making vexatious and false allegations.
The Police have the legal apparatus to do this. Isn't wasting Police time, perverting the course of justice etc

You need to follow up on this because that will be on file as a ‘talked to’ incident. You need to check if it’s been filed as a hate incident. If someone else complains about you this could be linked and escalated.

whitehorsesdonotlie · 14/02/2019 08:24

Fuck me, what shit am I reading? is it April fool's day???

“Meanwhile it’s highly unlikely that a trans female would give birth naturally, but would be delivered via Caesarian section in order to safeguard the child.”

No shit, Sherlock! A trans woman has no fucking vagina! How could they give birth 'naturally'?

And 'in order to safeguard the child'?? Nothing about trying to transplant a womb into a man is about safeguarding the child. It's all about the man's feelings. Eugh.

I honestly depair.

Needmoresleep · 14/02/2019 08:45

Coach, if you can bear it, you should contact the man at the Mail on Sunday who wrote the article last weekend that went viral about the woman who was held in a police cell for 7 hours for something she wrote on twitter.

I think some of this is deliberate. Complain to the police. Reported "hate crimes" rise. Ergo more resources are needed, more Mermaids training is needed, more Stonewall diversity advice is commissioned and there is a general impetus to prioritise measures to reduce hate.

Power and control.

Parts of the media have worked this out and will be only to keen to publish. Whether anyone would want to be in the DM is a different matter.

R0wantrees · 14/02/2019 08:57

I think some of this is deliberate. Complain to the police. Reported "hate crimes" rise.

This call to report was made explicitly by James Morton (influential TRA in Scotland) and recorded in an article. I will try and find it later.

Its likely to be used as 'proof' for the narrative that transphobia is on the increase in UK because terfs, Govt. consultation, media discussing issues etc

Needmoresleep · 14/02/2019 09:02

And talking about the DM, this article was in there today

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6701537/Tell-truth-pill-Demand-women-say-lives-blighted.html

Something for women who suffer from depression and who are on the pill to consider. There is also a report on academic research links teenage use of marijuana, and later MH problems.

The point being is that almost any drug carries risks. To some extent I don't care about anyone who wants to go all "Danish Girl" and risk a womb implant. But what about the fetus who will be subject to high levels of drugs and artificial hormones at the most crucial stages of development. Poor Frankenbabies. I am not perfect and rolled my eyes at midwife advice not to drink coffee or alcohol, or eat blue cheese or ready meals, though in fairness morning sickness was natures way of preventing me from eating very much at all. Yes IVF and preventing miscarriage will cause some people to take more drugs than they would like. But who on earth thinks it would be in a child's best interest to bathe them in drugs from the start and through the whole process, simply to treat some form of body dysphoria in the would be parent.

This is where I withdrew my consent for organ donation. Don't know how binding it is but seems official.
