For stats, there are roughly 500 people a year murdered in the UK, and best guess about 400,000 worldwide.

I can't find data about TW trafficked, but general data says worldwide 40million people trafficked, 80%are women and children. So the claim that tw are even trafficked is tenuous at best and probably a big fat lie.

I can’t begin the imagine how selfish someone must be to decide that they have the right to play god with another human life. They seem to forget the life of the child. Is a person so self absorbed and fixated on ‘being the real deal’ the right person to be a parent? You know the sleepless nights, the constant worry, the spending hours helping with homework and play dates, midnight trips to the a&e... it’s not all coffee with the girls and dressing up baby like a dolly.

This whole thread creeps the hell out of me. Women's aren't pockets for babies?! How would the baby breathe? How would the baby be given everything it needs to grow and develop. Women's organs actually shift, their abdominal muscle splits to facilitate the growth of a full term baby. Their oxygen supply is shared and the baby takes what nutrients it needs as a priority over the mother.

They found that brains show features associated with both 'men and women', and that it's more influenced by our experiences as we grow, as the brain is a lot more malleable than they thought.
